Well I was asked that question and went off on a bit of a tangent - actually I made the mistake of listening back to the show tonight and was mortified - I could hear my anger coming through in my voice all too frequently *blush* - the political aspect explains the lack of action by MP's - but it doesnt explain the unfavourable press coverage.

This will be poised in a show this week, although, I think we have covered this before if memory serves....may have to have a re-listen to the archives now....which is a pretty enjoyable task in itself now

For me the one question that wasn't answered was 'has the treatment of Rangers been political'?For me it's a definite yes.

One day CRO will see past the fall-outs etc and see the site and show for what it is now compared to what it was back when the issues started I am a very optimistic Bearette so I tend to see past the niggles D'Artagnan, you are a true gentleman in every form. i agree dunny,I think a lot of the other sites ,fan organisations like the rst and the bloggers are missing a trick not using rangerschat to get their views across,it's a great platform the only rangers phone in out there,they should really get involved and endorse it and help it grow.

See when you see the work these guys put in......UNPAID !! remember, they spend nearly every hour of there lifes when they wake up getting info, visiting members, playing music on the site radio station, they do it for the love of Rangers nothing else, and that's why me and you Gary are listening in and taking part in the lobby etc..... because its all about the Rangers and I cant think of a better place to spent a couple hours a night than listening to my fellow Rangers supporters and meeting great guys like you Gary for one !! ..... I cant get enough of Rangers sites, I love the CRO podcast in particular too, they guys are amazing to listen too, but I get to the end of there show, and I hear EVERY single Rangers site is read / shouted out except RangersChat, and me being an admirer of RangersChat feel sometimes that's a wee kick in the baws, hopefully they guys will give Ian and Fox a listen too and give the boys a wee mention someday, as they deserve it.

I will start Monday's show with the same line, because D'Artagnan really did knock that one over the pavillion roof.
It was incredible that a 2 3/4 hr. show started with a PM from D'Art asking if he could do a 10 min impromptu call.
As you rightly said the high calibre of caller did give an extra depth to D'Art's musings; at one time there was 9 people on the line.
Let's hope that we can pursue the objectives discussed last night with the same voracity that D'Artagnan exhibits for his quest.

that was the reason i started this thread. Sure i have become a regular caller, and to be honest i listened from day one from over a year ago, listened to fantastic people from old to new, but i felt it was particularly important to point out to folk, especially on RM as its the best football forum on the net barr none, packed with quality opinions and amazing characters, you been one of them, But since IAN AND FOX have taken grips of this show, it is totally fantastic and I think with amazing guys like you calling in, the Rangerschat is an incredible platform for all Rangers supporters to be heard and also listen.
I am honored to be a member of RangersMedia and RangersChat because two different type of sites but have one common denomonator, both are Packed with real Rangers supporters.
I never want to be seen as a cheerleader for any site but i started this thread because credit were credits due.

spot on dunny,rangerschat has improved massively under Ian and fox,but you have to take a wee bit of credit as well dunny,I think you have played a big part in boosting their numbers

Excellent show again,dartangnan s contribution was excellent,Ian and fox are really providing an brilliant platform for rangers supporters to get their views across.

I could listen to D'art every night give a weekly slot if possible , in saying that I don't want to take anything away from the regulars on the show who contribute every night it would take to long to name every one. all the best S H

I remember Ian once stating about how could the Tom Miller show be topped...well, there you go.
Friday's show was absolutely brilliant, and whilst D'art was his usual wizened self, it was also wonderful for the many, many contributions from, well you know who you all are. Hearty back-slaps all round, People.
As a mere listener to the show since its inception, I deeply encourage anyone who hasn't listened to http://www.rangerschat.com to do so from Monday onwards (or catch up with the archives on the main page). And of course the paranormal Saturday night show is a wonderful alternative.
I hope many of the points raised regarding unity and cohesiveness come to fruition, and if it happens, well, it has to begin somewhere.
The show really does go from strength to strength, and I hope the listener base rises proportionally with the quality of the programme.

Seriously i normally get a good swally on a friday night but i was enjoying the show so much that i decided not to go out!
The show just seems to be getting better and better.
Ian, fox and tommy are doing a fantastic job and there are people behind the scene mucking in also!! Well done to all involved! :clap:

I actually thought I was going to miss all the show this week due to work commitments in London, but decided no way was I going to miss an episode...it would be like missing a Rangers game...it just WOULDN'T happen!!!!!
I am so glad I stuck in, both with my job and this show because all week has been worth it and what really intrigues me is that if this can happen during off season, what are we going to be like when the new season really kicks off! :O :O :O
Maybe I should do a GovanBlue and start hibernating now to prepare cause I have a feeling my fingers will be stubs come end of this new season!! haha
Well done to EVERYONE involved with the show and that includes the listeners cause to be honest, through all our hard work, having Rangers Fans in listening, makes the show worth every single last drop of breath and sweat we have put into making it the show it is today

I really can't praise Rangers chat enough. The amount of work which goes on, often unseen, is incredible. It's offering the Rangers support a unique platform to exchange views.

Her father (the gentleman who told fake bake Bain to do one - after he complained about certain songs being sung) is hopeful about getting a rebate from the Swiss finishing school she attended.
I alluded to this on last night's show, but our senior NARSA correspondent was reticent to comment.
