  1. but would they though say if we sold twenty tickets so had people to put up banners etc they would give us 20 seats, don't get me wrong im all for a boycott but it will be incredibly hard unless like people are saying something comes from the club or supporters groups
  2. I agree but the onnly trouble about boycotting the piggery is that they will just fill it 60,000 full of their own fans
  3. I hope so and its not clauses in the contract cause he did score a fair amount of goals etc
  4. Just had radio scotland on there and it came up on the news so obviously official.
  5. Sorry if someone has already mentioned. If we bought jelavic for 4 mil, and now rapid are chasing us up for over 1mil does that mean we didn't make a profit at all from selling jelavic and actually he is still costing us? its a joke how cheaply he left. how are we meant to hand out a over a million in our state!
  6. so when we played 6 defenders and some out of position and were 3-0 up on celtic were you moaning then? Christ sakes get a grip in a season like this we need experience, the more experienced players are in the defence category at the mo. What opened my eyes up this season was dundee utd at home when we lost 2-0, man for man i was looking at the teams and i would've taken alot of theirs over ours in the squad. People need to open their eyes and realise we arn't head and shoulders above everyone else by miles. you think mourinho would of done a better job with the group of players?
  7. I agree that mcgregor deserves that tag of over 10 mil defo, he alone you could argue has won us 2 of the last 3 titles you could also argue he got us to manchester, some of his saves are second to none. Walter said hes the best penalty saver he's ever seen and he's worked with the "goalie"! he's a remarkable shot stopper, and what people seem to forget is that it takes special keepers to play for the old firm not cause they're under the cosh but because they don't have to do anything all came then pull off a wonder save in the 90th minute, takes alot of mental strength! I hate how some people take for granted just how lucky we have been with great goalies!! as for jela yeah it was a bargain buy and best striker for some time in the spl, but he's gone and we shall replace him like we do every other good player cause no player is bigger than the club!
  8. Its a very good read, advise getting it.
  9. Very good read, do you think there is any possibility of the american guy joining the blue knights consortium, i like the idea of being owned by multiple rather than one person alone. But what would be ideal in my eyes would be the blue knights with a rich investor involved
  10. Great positive is that i think ibrox is slowly but surely bringing back the atmosphere, the fact that the union bears and tbo joined up and are growing and also the turmoil the club have gone through has really unified everyone and you can hear it at games now at ibrox
  11. do you think we have the youth to bring through other than the obvious guys that have been a bit part so far, celtic are dominating in the youth department right now, winning the league and cups etc
  12. I do agree that union bears wasn't the best name not because i'm against the union as im not but because if it was called something simple everyone can join without having views on the name or not joining because it has "union" in it, i think what the ub lads are doing is amazing and its just gonna grow but yeah i for one would change the name, i like the blue commandos
  13. Agree, i thought he was a good player and is gonna be. But i think the reason youth isn't used as much and bedded in is because ibrox is one of the WORST places to play youth,if a youth player puts a foot wrong the whole of ibrox groans and they are slated saying he is not gers quality etc etc. because the only thing that matters to both sides of the old firm is winning it is very hard to bed in young players or experiment. and if they have ONE bad game at home their confidence will rocket so low and confidence is everything to a young guy. I've heard walter and coisty kinda point in that direction. I agree we need to bring in our youth but one thing alot of gers fans don't have is patience which is exactly what young players need, that and ofcourse they are easily injured just look at ness, mcabe after old firm, then down south with wilshere after wenger trying to build his team around him and cleverley at man u.
  14. If it wasn't for happenings outside of players and managments control i genuinely believe we would be on for 5 in a row this year, anyone else recall when the SPL gave us no help when thriving in europe, reaching the uefa cup final cost us the league in 08 there is no question, hearing player's interviews and reading biographies they are still reeling with the spl for giving them the impossible task of 3 important games in 5 days, add that to which i believe is a completely tainted title this season. Yes we only got deducted 10 points this season but we lost more points than that as a result of turmoil behind the scenes and selling our best striker as the bargain buy of the epl this year (bar newcastles signings up top!!). These celtic fans know that and know they have to win it next year to really mean something, i for one am confident that if we keep our core players mcgregor boca papac whitts davis edu mcculloch naisy lafferty add some editions hopefully get our buyer we will win back whats ours. Celtic have supposedly been the "better" team the last 5 years yet we would be on course for 5 in a row if it weren't for our own success and idiots in charge of our club. I am immensely proud of what this core of our team have achieved in that time in financial hardship and also of the players that have moved on, but the difference between us and them is that we have a core of winners a core of people who will take pay cuts to help the club they love a core of players who don't bottle big games. I am more immensely proud of these genuine rangers supporters playing in our strips than a team of overpaid bottling mercenaries who will jump at the first chance of the premiership. Heres to getting our title back and to hopefully a successful outcome behind the scenes.
  15. Aye i know, that was craig brown though, Goram says in his book that brown never took to him and vise versa somehow get the impression he still holds a grudge for not being able to walk out with scotland in the france 98 opener! imo a fantastic goalkeeper that should of had many many caps
  16. Just wondering if someone could help, im looking at buying quite abit of merchandise for me and family, red and black scarves, tops just £10 pound etc. But i was wondering do rangers get that money or does it go somewhere else i remember when they sold off to jjb some time back. So am i better buying merchandise elsewhere so gers get the money, cheers
  17. Agree, I always thought he would make a good right sided midfielder, not the most skillful but fast strong got height and can crack one plus would track back. Ever since his goal against sporting lisbon on our manchester run i was saying play him further forward! very versatile too, good player to have
  18. Im new to this and this is my first comment, before everyone starts no im not a tim. i thought about it for the united game and again for the piggery why not go to the shanty town that is parkhead in our numbers sing our hearts out but dont officialy enter the ground and give our £40 to rangers, not "walking away" and not giving them a penny plus think how much the gers would make. Plus it would enrage the tims, would be class
