think the reason papac got a game in there is because he's seen as a more reliable with steel in the middle, whereas bedoya likes to play further forward who isn't going to put a challenge in like papac and i think in some games i dont care how good you are, experience usually always wins the day esp in oldfirms. just my opinion

good post mate and i appreciate what your saying, but you must remember as we are such a big club there are differing fans, as you say you wont sing about county down etc but so much of our support comes from northern ireland and some prob have very strong links to past days of trouble etc. and even within glasgow you will get fans or ultras or whoever you want to call them and you will get the people who would rather stay with the old traditional songs. Everyones entitled to their own opinion. My point however is that things are constantly changing, Britain had the most passionate fans in the world before but not anymore after all seaters heavy policing etc, and now Europeans are head and shoulders above us in terms of atmosphere (excluding old firms) i was at our last european games and the atmosphere wan't what it used to be, albeit we were getting humped most of the time. But what these guys are trying to do is emulate the european atmosphere because lets be honest we now envy them, yes we include our own songs, but i just wish people would appreciate that if it wasn't for these boys ibrox would be a laughing stock. The british fans arn't what they were its now middle class that attend games etc, and sometimes i think its now fear to stand up and sing because you get looked at funny. singing sections are the best way and who cares what you are singing just creating an atmosphere for our players to thrive on is the most important thing, i hope the section grows and grows. point im trying to make is when these boys sing something not everyone likes they get shot down i just wish people would look at the bigger picture who cares what we are singing just aslong as we create an atmosphere and this as a chant is superb. who actually does trully get offended at a 90 min footy game

to be honest who gives a fuck about europe, you really think that even if we didn't have this ban for europe that we would actually make it anyway, theres no way that we would qualify through the rounds anyway, its tough already and our squad may even get weaker. surely a move to copland front should be done, means then that there is a guarantee for old firm games, obviously some people would lose their season ticket seats if they didn't want to be part of the section but surely they would all agree to it for the greater good of the atmosphere. the reason you think that is because people like you need a scapegoat and because edu has been labelled as pish people scrutinize his every move and pick up on every bad point that other players make all the same but people don't see. just take a change of view and realise edu has had his best season this season and is our most experienced midfielder now davis is out so prob does alot of organising in there with two young guys
