  1. And the DR and the Gherald, an insidious bastard of a man who will do anything to get a free ride at Ibrox
  2. that cnut, in fact this thread, is reeking.......
  3. Expect a statement from the club within the next 24hours contradicting the offer to join the board.
  4. Said yesterday they would go after King big time, both the bheasts and elements within our own support. Where was the OP originally published -- another taig rhag?? The bheasts do not want a Rangers recovery either on or off the field and the introduction of King is liable to facilitate both. Some of our own supporters seem determined to push only a single agenda which is pretty sad.
  5. No coincidence that Mather and King both released their statements through the club's official website. Traynor finally doing his job? As for the DR, their so-called journalists are lifting stories from RM FFS and would not be averse to a wee 'cut & paste' job from the official site.
  6. He seems to be saying that Jack Irvine is working against King. He also implies that Irivine is in the pockets of CM & BS. Yet CM & BS are the people who want to bring King back and met him in ZA to facilitate his return to Ibrox in the role of Chairman. Or is it all subterfuge???
  7. I think the only place you will find an untainted Scottish journalist these days is in the cemetery.
  8. Minstral right on the money again - love all the old B&W photos.
  9. Great pictures thanks. The poster of the bullfighter had me reminiscing again about Barca '72. Wonder how many bullfighter posters, sombreros, stuffed donkeys and swords were brought back from the Catalan capital???
  10. A UEFA inquiry may have highlighted their connections to Doncaster and Regan who were both heavily influential in Rangers punishment and both of whom are, allegedly, friends of Liewell. They never do anything without reason and that reason is generally self-serving.
  11. TBBlue been around recently One of the newer posters sounds awfy familiar.
  12. Yes he could have but he didn't. He had a bill from the tax man after a protracted battle they came to an agreement that suited both parties. Quite common in tax cases. King himself admitted that prolonging the case had been a mistake on his part.
  13. Now because it suits Mather and he obviously sold King on the idea. What does King get in return?? That is anybody's guess but it is no coincidence that the day after his tax situation was settled he was interviewed on ZA television and one of the comments directed at him mentioned him being able to devote more time to his other passion, the Rangers. Whatever King is up to I believe he is in for the long-haul. I also believe the more he is hounded by the media, the more determined he will be seen as the man who took Rangers back to the top. I see the chairman's' role as a way for him to get his foot in the door - that one step I alluded to earlier.
  14. Mini and his cohorts don't buy the boys, they just rent them.
  15. Friend of mines from school Rangers --- them ---- Rangers. Always found it very odd. Moved to Prestwick so may be supporting Ayr United by now.
  16. Craig our club was never liquidated but I am sure that was just a typographical error on your part. You sound a bit like the school yard bully. You want everyone to hear your opinion. You produce banners with a very negative and abusive slant aimed at the very people running the club. Even the tone of this thread is overly aggressive and unlikely to win you more friends. The very tone of your leaflets is non-conciliatory and you appear even though your motives may be genuine to relish inflaming the situation. Even the closing sentence on this thread 'correct manner but no thanks to the keyboard warriors and know it alls' is overtly aggressive. Yet after abusing others, including the club's board, you yourself bemoan the fact that you are abused while handing out leaflets attacking the people running the club who still enjoy the backing of many Rangers fans. Craig, a wee suggestion, either grow a thicker skin or go back to running your own business. Need to grow up if you want to play with the big boys.
  17. Ever buy a box of blueberries?? They are all nice and fresh but stuck in the bottom is one wee white one which is rotten. If you leave the rotten one there for too long the whole box becomes tainted and your only solution is dispatch the container and contents to the closest garbage bin.
  18. Time for the board to look round Ibrox for a bunch of pimply youths. Give them a fiver each and a bunch of 'Back the Board' banners. That would have the media in turmoil.
  19. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
  20. English, Speirs and ThreeNhames will do anything to continue putting the boot into Rangers. The idea of us rising again has these people in panic mode and there is still over a year to go until we are back in the top flight. If you think they are bad this season, wait till next - it will get worse. Fans groups should all be abandoned and a club membership scheme, managed by the club, set up. Members could join through their own local supporters club. For those of us outside the major fan-bases such as NARSA then the club could setup an 'Internet Loyal' supporters club. A club managed supporters group could then elect a 'liaison committee' to coordinate with the club. The other groups, for the interests of the club as a whole could then shut up shop. Fans seem to be calling for a man with business acumen, cash, charisma and a genuine desire to move the club forward to be on the board. King seems to fill the bill. The more negative noise from the media only illustrates that they are in panic mode.
  21. What on earth are you talking about. You concluded your post commenting that King wanted Murray on the board. My question was directed solely at that comment.
  22. King is coming back to help Mather against the rebels as well as help out the club. What he gets in return is anyone's guess at this juncture. From Mather's viewpoint he has just played a binder here.
