Big Jim is a cracking guy. Worked in a practice in Dunfermline for a few years and had dealings with him. Really top bloke. I echo what MaddistonKnight says about the CLUB being different from the custodians. Most Fifers are decent (although all the ones I worked with were a bit dim :-) ) and the majority of them would lean our way. After what has happened to us, I would hate to see a good club with a long history go under for the mistakes of the twats in charge. Apart from Septic, Scumdee Hibs and the sheep molestors - they can all rot!!!

Hope they act on this, although not getting my hopes up. Loved the sporting integrity part. Pitty they didn't mention the role of Lawwell and his influence in bth the SPL and SFA. Wonder if any other league in the world would allow that?

Am I the only one not counting this as 55? For me, 55 will be when we are back where we belong and win the top league (whatever it is called by then). Still, SFL3 adds to our grand total of trophies. Most successfull club in the world :-)

Just back from the game! Was a great atmosphere and just amazing to be back watching the Gers! Very impressed with the way we played too. Thought there might be the temptation to punt it up the park, but we passed it around well despite the lack of pre-season games. 3 at the back worked well. Impressed with all the signings and the boy McKay looked good- thinks just needs more confidence when presented with a chance. Hope we keep up to style of football and breed it into the club for the future. I'm totally buzzing, more so than ever before. I fecking LOVE this club! RT.RN.RF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish them all the best for having some class and doing things the proper way. i.e. not shafting us to further themselves financially! Hope Goian leaves as well. Not worth what we're paying him. Cheaper and better available, but again fair play for switching over and all the best!

I agree with getting rid of Cel**c's name from the songs, but please DO NOT replace them with names of SFL teams. We need some friends, now more than ever. We should be building bonds with these clubs and showing the country that Scottish football will be rebuilt to a better standard BECAUSE OF US and INSPITE of the tarriers and their hareem. The SFL have been welcoming to us, to abuse them would make us look like an ignorant, arrogant disgrace. I hope people support our club and do it proud. I feel ill with worry this week. Was starting to feel optimistic, even if it meant SFL3 at least we'd have a club. With all the stuff I've read today and last night on a couple of forums, I really don't know what is happening.

Would be amazing to escape from Scottish football, but even if we did, we'd still not be free of the tarrier's obsession with us. They'd be phoning English police stations complaining about songs and bombarding the radio stations with their bile. We might get a lot of flak from some quarters in England too for killing a team for our own gain, but it'd be worth it to get out of here. Would be good if straight after it happened UEFA closed the door permenantly stopping sweep-sweep fc from following us.

The league will indeed degenerate over the 3 years without us, but our return could see a massive surge of interest in the league. First league old firm game etc which could benefit the entire Scottish game with more interest from further afield and perhaps increased TV revenue. All coulds and perhaps these days isn't it?

I agree that the coaching and football development side of out club needs rubbed out and started again from scratch with an actual plan towards the future wrt the style of football we play and the type of players we bring in and move on for a profit. Also, starting to focus on technique and mental ability instead of just getting the big kids in. However, I don't think McCabe et all will hang around for SD3. They'll have plenty of suitors from down south IMO. Couple of years of graft (with our wrok ethic in show) and we will be back strong and proud. And we'll have helped out the lower divisions on the way. FUCK THE SPHell

The club still exists unchanged. The company which runs the club will disappear and be replaced. The company formed in 1899 never won a trophy to lose. Don't be taken in by the propaganda! The company running celtic were not formed in 1888, but they still claim their history. I'm sure if you looked into all clubs in the UK to see when their companies were formed, you'd find that probably NONE of them have companies dating back to the formation of the club, yet still have their history because it BELONGS TO THE CLUB, NOT THE COMPANY. Actually, someone with the know-how should do that and publish it. People mention Airdrie, but Airdrionians CLUB was dissolved and then they bought ANOTHER club and re-branded it. That is why they have no history prior to 2002. The Rangers Football Club is still the same. The Rangers Football Club Plc is gone. This history loss crap would not be an issue in any other country. Nor would it be an issue with any other club in this country apart from ours due to the years of propaganda and mis-information. We are still the same club, with the same history and traditions. WE ARE THE PEOPLE! For you to abandon the club at this moment in time is a disgrace and makes me sick. You have let the people intent on destroying our great club win.
