  1. Cheers lads I'm with it now. Thought it was an idea you were thinking about. My apologies m8, lol. Just don't want anything like this. All Rangers fans of any period would back the club. Prefer to keep with all that is old right now. Prefer nothing that marks this period myself. Feel more annoyed with myself that us fans never asked more of Murray years ago when we first found out about our huge debts. Don't know if the generations of bears that went before us would have been any wiser or not. Nah this 12top's not for me
  2. Like the bit about us always surviving but not keen on the 12 or anything else new. It will always be 1872 for me. Might be better with that on the back of tops
  3. About time we were getting somthing positive about the club. Good thing is that it's true. Most of these players will never play for a genuine Big Club again. Just wish other former players would defend the club or put out somthing positive. Seems M'coist and Durrant are more-or-less on their own. They have probably been recieving support on the phone but a lot more could have spoke up for the club like Durrant has here. Well done Durrant nice to hear
  4. The run and goal in europe was the only real highlight. Been a liability in defence. Won't be missed
  5. Ah smart arse, ok what I meant to say is most of a country's important bodies and institutions would be more constructive towards us. Do you not think Rangers deserve it after all the club has contributed to the national game?
  6. Cheers m8, heard about the bid and did'nt like it with them being in the property game. Never heard about Brown or the guy being a tim
  7. Shame and worrying to see one of our own youngsters deserting us. He had it all to gain. Will probably go by way of Liam Miller. It's bad to see how much even our homegrown players think of our league and club now. There's no respect for the national team either. Our old England players like Terry Butcher probably have more loyalty to the club. Think it's just the money and supposed glamour of down south.
  8. Never heard about Brown More Than. Being owned by one of them, never heard of such shite, must be going senile. To think how long he's been on the clubs books. Worse yet. Think these former players are trying to appear this way to please the press, tv, other clubs, and footballing bodies to curry favour for future jobs or something, the level of support for the club has been shameful.
  9. These sort of issues need to get dealt with swiftly after this vote so that we can get some stability going and fans buying more tickets. I'm sick of all these legal wrangles and stuff giving the media and our other enemies more with which to sink in the knife
  10. Excellent posts Glasgow RFC and Mor than a Fan. Non of our greats have really done anything. Gazza would have done better than Gough. If he doesn't care enough to get involved personally then the least he could do was say somthing positive or encouraging to support Mcoist, the club, the players, and the fans. I'd be dissapointed if none of the better Scottish or Irish players did not stay if we only went down one division although I think most will go. Most footballers now seem to stop being supporters once they turn professional. What's John Brown been saying?
  11. Agree stuart54, could not go near a Septic forum. Would feel creepy to be among so many even if only through a computer
  12. Yeah, Mculloch is one of the ones who you'd want to keep for his experience and position. Any players who stay are deserving of respect. Well done to Mculloch in coming out early and setting an example. Lets hope a few more show such character and loyalty to the club
  13. Yermaw and Smile posts, lol Always good to be ready for these rodents, they'll be feeling very brave at the moment and not their usual cowardly selfs, mind it happened before when they got to Seville. Like Werewolves and full moons. These strange creatures that inhabit our city can be dangerous if you turn your back on them. When approached remain calm, do not turn your back, stare ahead, laugh at and pity them, whilst keeping it utmost in your mind that you support the superior club in every way and look digusted if they ever mention a comparison between the clubs. That actually causes me to feel sick and its hard to keep my composure. A bit like someone comparing your wife to a prostitute, lol. But it's a legal way to deal with a smug tim. These are once in a lifetime moments to them but remember we get to laugh at them all the time. In my thirty three years of living I must admit that I've had a lot more laughs out of Celtic than any other thing in this world. Nothing changes because this will also be short lived
  14. Not old enough, lol, only Scandinavian I'd heard of was Johansson for some famous goal he scored. Anyone say what final or match it was I'm thinking of?
  15. The clowns have left it too late to start admitting the truth of their and the league's need of Rangers. We have fed these clubs for a century and they and their fans know it. The hard line was jelousy, bitterness, and hatred. They should have put their business heads on sooner. Just demonstrates how much these parasites hate us. They should hate not being able to stand on their own feet not us when we support them financially. I have no sympathy for any of them. In a small country like ours we need some level of unity of purpose between the press, government, football authorities, and clubs which should be to promote the welfare of our national game. Well it's been more like witnessing them all trying to destroy the country's no 1 footballing asset. The response to what went on at Ibrox should have been different. Not just about punishment and sticking the boot in but also about our 'biggest asset' is in serious difficulty. How do we support or atleast sympathise with its recovery. After all what other nation would willfully destroy an institution that is so important to it's social history and status in football. Fuck them, its only fair we return the sentiments to all these rats
  16. That's the way I've got to feeling about Scottish football in general. Well said Jim
  17. This is why I thought there was little chance of us being voted out until all the bandwagons started. 18. Thanks for the welcome and posts lads. Your right about the jelousy Tombomb but the level of bitterness has surprised me. Espcially from organisations like the press and SFA who can't even claim to be rivals. I'll certainly never feel the same about Scottish football. The filth make me laugh with their sudden 'whiter than whiteness' when we all know how many tax-dodgers have been on their books never mind what ZeonBlue is talking about. Talk about hypocrisy eh? What can we expect from them though when so many of their people, including directors and managers, are ignorant thugs or make classless digs about our club at every opportunity. Cheers Swally, Williamson's post is what you'd expect from tims and he accuses me of being one, lol. Sad to see but these are bad times eh? and the filth get paranoid about Scottish football being against them, lol. Elephants this group of players has been exceeding themselves for years so I'm not going to blame them for somthing that they did not create. Although it's sad to see that some may be exploiting the situation themselves. Again we have the owners to blame. How can we hold anything against players like Naismith for not fancying anymore uncertainty let alone maybe 3 seasons at a lower level without Europe. Peter I hope I'm wrong but I think we have no chance of staying in the top flight so we'll be needing to let players leave anyway. Let's face it were going to be downgrading to maybe the level of a Heart's squad, lol, until we get back to the SPL.
  19. lol, Williamson, my e button on my keyboard is not working properly. I need to get a new one. That's a pretty heavy insult to be dishing out so it's just as well you do it from the safety of your own home, lol. Read my post before you insult me. Why would I defend Rangers if I was a tim?
  20. (continued)encouraged players to play for th national team, TV money, european places, exciting football news for papers and tv to report, nurturing and developing local talent, and just about every thing is that is good for the game. Why is all this being overlooked at the moment. Why is the press, SFA, SPL not outraged at what has been done to our club considering all that is has done for them. These supposedly objective organisations are a disgrace. No other country would turn on their flagship of a 140 years just because of unscrupolous owners. I'll never be anything but proud of our club. Even now we are showing more dignity than them. I'm only disgusted that Rangers have to be part of Scottish football as it's vile and I don't want our club to ever carry these parasites again. It is dissapointing to see young players leave though because they have enough career time left and we have helped them to develop.
  21. Hello fellow Rangrs fans. Glad to have found this site after giving up reading newspapers and then reading all the crap posted on yahoo. I don't think we can blame our players if they leave. The players are not responsible for the mess at Ibrox. Lots of players at other clubs would not even have considered the temporary wage reduction. We don't have a bad bunch of players in that respect. Most are not as good as we would usually have at Rangers but have done us proud on many occassions. It's probably harmed us because we have still been successful. Compare that to Septic who won nothing when they were going bust or even some of the lazy terrible big money signings we have previously made. Nah these players should not be ashamed. SDM, Whyte, and the rest of Scottish football and the media should be. The latter two with regards to the way they are putting the knife in when you would think it was their duty to try and safeguard our national game. Individuals are to blame but too many are using the situation for their own prejudiced reasons. Fair enough the club will have to face sanctions for the deeds of former owners but what we have been witnessing is nothing but the outpouring of long held and deep rooted hatred of our club. It has made me go from being well disposed towards most SPL clubs to having a negative view of most of them. It's put me off Scottish football to see what a bunch of cowards and cretins are involved. I'll probably never be able to read some newspapers again because it has all appeared to me to be more personal than objective. Too many agenda's at work when it should have been about criticising Murray, Whyte, and issuing sanctions that penalise the club in a way that best avoids letting the deeds of unscrupulous owners hurt our game anymore than they have already done. As if the actions of a few individuals have been enough to surpass 140 years of flying the flag for our country's football. Scottish football will always owe a debt to RFC in that sense. But all we read is that we are 'Scotland's shame'. So all the years we helped put Scottish football on the map, paid smaller clubs by attending their grounds and buying players, encouraged players
