  1. Oh yes, and all the court cases and the litigation against clubs who didn't pay compensation for treacherous ex players. They should then have to sit on the sidelines and watch all our players playing with honour. I reserve a special punishment for Moyes, whose dark history at Pacific 595 will be uncovered.... Say no more.
  2. First SFL team in history to win Scottish Cup having beaten an SPL team in every round. The beaten team then going into liquidation because they had factored in beating us in their budgets. Facing Sceptic in the final and winning with the jammiest goal in history. During our celebrations news breaks about revelations from referees that Pacific Shelf 595 had been match fixing. They are forced to eat humble pie made entirely from the words Sporting Integrity. That'll do for year 1. Oh and we win the world's most popular and iconic team award.
  3. I just don't understand what the game is here. Surely Kennedy doesn't make his money by self promotion. If he's interested in putting money into Rangers, he would do so, quietly, especially if he wants control. What I hope to take from this is that Green's consortium has enough money to get us playing again and that the SFA have received the fit and proper person evidence they need. The SPL can go hang.
  4. If Blue Pitch Holdings' 23% share can be diluted, then, presumably, so can Kennedy's proposed 51%? I am not sure what difference, in terms of control, being a majority share holder and owner gives automatically. Either way, if Green is able to show proof of funding - to complete all commitments etc - and disclosure of investors, we are in a much stronger position. There may be a number of the great unwashed wetting themselves at the possibility of being given Rangers' titles, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Whatever the outcome of the dual contracts investigation, what to do next would be a total nightmare. Try following the Juventus scandal. What the SPL need most of all is MONEY. After defecating in their own nests they are trying to hide the smell. Other clubs have skeletons in their closets and others will go to the wall without it. So they raise a stink to cover their own and then try to make us grateful, willing to accept anything to get out of it. We think we may lose titles AND have them given to ?*U&^ so we give them the money from our tv rights. Well I say, accept Kennedy's money, get playing and then play hard ball. The SFL are our friends, we are one of them and we should negotiate together. Our rights should be shared with the SFL not the SPL. If the SPL don't sign off then thei Armageddon will happen. Tough.
  5. I am now incredibly confused. I actually thought this post was about playing a friendly against Airdrie last night. I thought we needed a licence to play friendlies. So did we have a licence or not?
  6. We know what we know and the rest we make up. The potential for trophy stripping relates to the potential dual contracts investigation by the SPL (The SFA must remain uninvolved as they are the appeals body) None of this squares with my impression of Charles Green or Malcolm Murray. Charles Green wants to make money But I believe that he plans a longer term turnaround based on the power of Rangers brand worldwide. If someone comes in with a massive bid, then he may take it, but I don't believe that's his plan. It seems perfectly sensible to have an investor with an interest in developing young players, that's what Rangers is now about. I'm not big on conspiracy theories. I am far more concerned about the facts. As far as I can see the only real issue with the SFA is the transparency of Green's consortium. The transfer ban is a pain but we have enough players good enough to win the 3rd division and then the embargo is lifted. I think this has little to do with brave Ally and spineless Green, or more sanctions from the SFA (my one proviso is whether they want Rangers to waive rights to appeal) this has to with information. If I have one fear now, it is about dual contracts - whether they were used and the implications of that. I do not think there is any more appetite within the SFA for punishing Rangers. I don't know about the SPL, they are the ones who have defecated in their own nest and are trying desperately to hide it.
  7. I have no issues with anything in this article. When someone takes the time to explain the way they feel in such measured and articulated terms, it is always better to listen. I think there is some truth in the notion that Rangers supporters carry with them a certain sense of entitlement bordering on arrogance. I also remember that most north easterners (I grew up in Peterhead and am looking forward to returning)support Rangers and not Aberdeen but when your experience is of an unreasoning hatred of other groups, supporters and teams, it makes you feel very uncomfortable. I think it is important to learn from all that has gone on. I believe that rivalry is good, but hatred is self devouring. Living well is the best reward in life. We should celebrate our victories, not gloat over them. We have been through a lot and are about to go through a whole lot more, but we have a unique opportunity to both start again and retain a long and illustrious history. Already division 3 clubs are welcoming Rangers. They feel we will bring them fans and TV money and sponsorship. We will liven up their world, even if it is just for one season. Let's not trample over all of that with our arrogance. We can truly become a grassroots club again bringing everything we have to clubs that make the whole thing possible. Maybe, if we actually enjoy the ride, we can make friends with these clubs and it will make our journey and eventual arrival back at the top much much sweeter and with a team full of young Scots. You cannot have the light without the dark. Let's make our journey back into the light a quest, an adventure undertaken with friends.
  8. Jesus H Christ there are some ignorant people on here. Salmond may not be your cup of tea (with the Queen, I imagine) but a Jacobite????????? Jacobites wanted the restoration of James, the Catholic Stewart, not independence from England. Salmond is just a politician. Independence is actually all about Scots having faith in themselves. Rangers is a Scottish team, steeped in Scottish history with a Scottish future in Scotland and in Europe. Let's not forget how many great Scots have brought amazing things into the world (including the world's first self made billionaire and that Doncaster and Regan are from... Now where was it again? Okay, bring on the pelters.
  9. My interpretation of what Salmond actually said was - "what the fuck are you asking me to do this for, when you've already given me a pile of grief for saving jobs at BSB? You're a bunch of whinging hypocrites. This was their choice,(SPL) now should deal with it. Bend Murdoch's ear? yes, of course, when we've got a decent product administered by capable people ie proper thought out reconstruction.
  10. I don't think this is actually true. Whyte was deliberate, Murray was guilty of hubris. Yes, the big tax case is still hanging over us, but he acted on legal advice and it has nothing to do with us going into administration and he did not deliberately with hold tax, NI or payments to creditors. I have no idea how much he did or did not put into Rangers, but he tried hard but panicked and ran away. Watch out for Chelsea when Abramovich has had enough. I do worry about the political silence. Rangers is an employer, an institution and lots of other employers and institutions rely on it. Surely we are at least as important as Hall's of Broxburn or any other employer in trouble?
  11. I have no idea what the best solution is except that whatever happens we have been right royally shafted all round. I have this recurring image of the Queen shaking hands with McGuiness, the man who ordered her cousin's murder. I can't help thinking we will end up like that, shaking hands with those people who tried to damage us, for the good of Scottish football. The reason I am unsure about which division we should play in is that I wonder just how long it would take us to get back on track with massive overheads (although a decent business plant should actually see Ibrox and Auchenhowie pay for themselves, and our ability to attract players. Though we have an advantage over other clubs because we are Rangers. Still how good will we be by the time we get back to the Premier league when other clubs have been getting European money etc. Division 1 might be even worse. We have already lost many of our better players because they have no loyalty and if we have any sanctions at all we may not be able to escape the first division at the first time and will be weaker than other SPL clubs. Plus they still get to keep all that money after voting us out of the SPL after the rise of the idiocracy. However, if we did have only one season out of the SPL it would be satisfying to stick it to Whittaker et al while they are warming the benches at their too much money, no ambition clubs. I am sick to death of the hypocrisy of other clubs, (Leeds United didn't get this crap) and feel they need to experience the true weight of their decisions. Division one is punishment enough for being taken over illegally by a criminal scheister. If debt is criminal, look at England, look at Spain where top clubs owe the tax man £300,000. Sanctions would be down right bullying.
  12. Er, how long ago was all this? If they are playing in a European competition have they been out of European competition for 3 years or more?
  13. Why are they coming out with their voting intentions? Solidarity, yes and this situation has udders and they're milking it for all they're worth. There's still a way to go and decisions are not truly made yet, after all directors have a responsibility to the company and its employees and must not knowingly and deliberately obliterate the company or they may be open to charges of gross negligence and be vulnerable in the civil court if not the criminal one. The turkeys may still vote for Xmas and blame fan pressure, of course. For my part, though I'm not sure division 3 is the best option because of the overheads of Ibrox etc, but I am so damned sick of all this hypocrisy. Let them be accountable for their own decisions.
  14. I doubt it, there would have to be another 50,000, 60,000 Aberdeen supporters with 1p to spare.
  15. Buffon stayed with Juventus when they were relegated and he was most certainly the best keeper in the world. McGregor is a good keeper, no more. Craig Gordon was supposed to be the bees knees, but wasn't. The fact is I have no sympathy for any of those who were under contract and simply walked away when Rangers could have got money for them. What else is there to say? Money? The average worker earns about 1/2 million their whole life.
  16. Fellow Bears, you are missing the point entirely, this is huge. £563 means that Aberdeen 56300 supporters have donated 1p, totally unheard of in Aberdeen or the city of Raith. That's incredible unity and true sporting integrity. What was the point again?
  17. Living well is the best revenge. Believe me, helping out the promoters of the idiocracy just as they sink in their own shit will rub their noses in it big time. Doing the right thing AND revenge. It's wonderful.
  18. No Sanctions, not in any league. We already have three years of no European money and the knock on effect What happened in Spain when Real Madrid got into trouble? The Spanish government thought they were too important and helped them out - debts £700m. What did we get? dog shit through our letterboxes. Leaving the SPL is already too great a punishment for being bought by a psychopathic scheister who deliberately drove us into administration before we could do anything about our debt. No, the sooner we are back beating Pacific Shelf 595 Ltd the better. So no points deduction. The only thing we should accept is an apology from the chairmen and fans of opportunist clubs and a donation from Aberdeen Sporting Integrity dipsticks as a goodwill gesture to the victims of crimes against sportsmanship.
  19. Hell-fire, I can understand the paranoia, I've read the vitriolic crap coming from the manky Bhoys like Dicklan Murphy, but I'm one of your own. Just to set the record straight, we are Rangers, we will always be Rangers, Rangers will never die, but from the moment Rangers owners started pissing about and Whyte got control we have had no control of what happens to our club. I want to make sure that we think with our heads as well as our hearts. I was posting onto other general websites until I got fed up of the stupid, self destructive anti Rangers bile on them. I hoped on this website I could find fellow Rangers supporters who would listen, act and move the club forward. This is time for unity, speaking with one voice and ensuring our future remains intact is part of it.
  20. Do we have any informed opinion about the legal position of future Rangers results. We have heard far too much from the Rangers haters about the fervent desire to delete Rangers' history. However, at some point, somewhere Rangers will play again. What will the authorities record? Will Rangers win division 3 (or West of Scotland) as we all believe, or will there be a further travesty and record this as a first trophy? When, eventually we win the championship, will this be a further league trophy or trophy number 1. I know what I believe, but I am not in charge of football history.
  21. If this is an SFA document, then it is required to play in any league. I'm not sure it is possible to sign away legal rights and doing so would probably render the agreement unlawful as an "unfair contract."
  22. Surely, if Rangers FC has not yet been liquidated and Green has bought all assets then the players' contracts belong to one or the other. If the players refuse to transfer under TUPE (Whittaker definitely needs one of them!)then their contracts remain with Rangers FC. In that case surely BDO will sell them for what they can get to pay outstanding creditors. Free agents, no not free, just cheap.
  23. Let me say that so far I have been disgusted by pretty much everything associated with Rangers' demise - from Murray's tax dodging, Whyte's out and out wickedness to the greed of players and from the fecklessness of the administrators to the mob rule from the supporters of other clubs. I do think we should start again in division 3, not because it would be sticking it to other clubs, but because those are the rules for Newcos in football. One thing this has taught me is just how far ownership of our once proud club is from its supporters. We must see this as an opportunity to build from the ground up with supporters being members of the club and with Rangers truly supporting the grass-roots membership of local footballers. However, my main point today is that there has been a lot of talk over TUPE and the rights or otherwise of players. I think their rights in terms of the new employer are straight forward - they can object. However, I am not so sure that makes them free agents because Rangers FC has not yet been liquidated. If this is the case then those contracts must remain with the liquidator whose job it will be to sell them and pay off creditors. I hope so. The more of our debts we pay, the lest the baggage we have to carry around with us. Rangers plight reflects our nation's as a whole. We have developed a complacent sense of entitlement. We live outside our means, we borrow money and complain when we have to pay it back. We spend of useless luxuries instead of building our communities and the skills of our young people. This is a salutary lesson. Let's make sure we learn from it.
