It's a great wee machine...but I'd say no, unless you've had PS+ for the past few years and 'purchased' the vita games. If you have, you'll have tons of games to download for free and play. I managed to get a vita from a pawn store in mint condition for £50 and with ps+, got around 50 games to play so I can't complain, but if you're starting from scratch, and being around £100 for pre owned, it's a risk. Also Sony have stated that AAA games won't be released on it anymore, but if you're a fan of indie titles, then you're in luck. Love the machine, but you'd really investing for its back-catalougue.

Bungie also stated the game doesn't really kick off 'till you get past lvl 20, so that's very much an incentive.

Something I miss from FIFA13 was the ability to have online friendlies with randoms; if I was just wanting a quick game, I loved that. Not heard of it returning for 15, which is a pity. Also wish they would let you quit up to 5 min game-time in case you get a really bad laggy session; nothing worse having to play a full game when the lag totally fucking ruins the game.

Roll on release date, cannot fucking wait.

Once had a game for my Amstrad CPC that took 26 min to load. Every. Fucking. Time.

Nostalgia can be such a wicked cunt. I was mad for revisiting the old consoles too at one point, and brought out the old PS2 along with GTA3. About 20 minutes into it, I couldn't help but compare it to GTA5 in every possible way, and well, it got put back. If you are going for 16-bit love with the Megadrive or SNES, just get yourself an emulator an play it on yer PC. As someone else said, I feel the N64 has dated pretty badly (really blurry textures), the DC has some great games but you're heading to Ebay to get games for it, and the Gamecube isn't worth getting if you have a Wii for backwards compatibility. So if you feel the need, go for a PS2, and cex will serve you with a shitload of games. But it's never as good second time around

Agreed, the demo is great, but the keepers, er well, I heard that the demo is quite an old build so hopfully they've sorted them out. Love the close control now, and they seem to have pared back the chipped lobs. Did you notice that you can now control players in the box whilst the CPU take the corner for you?

It's fucking brilliant though I'm biased since I loved the Beta. It is a mash up of Borderlands, Halo and Diablo 3, and even though the story isn't the best, the gameplay is as tight as you'd expect from Bungie. Buy it - and GTA when it comes out

I know its getting a lot of negativity, but I quite like the look of The Order, and I'm sure it's got a Feb release, so that'll be my AAA for that month sorted. Batman in June sounds fantastic.

Not tried it out, Godfather. I know that the PS4 still won't play MKV's yet, but like you, I don't have any to try.

Didn't have any issues; perhaps it was bad timing with the influx of Minecraft players having their first weekend on the PS4? Just hope PSN doesn't come crashing down on us come Tuesday!

I was the complete opposite lol. Must have spent close to 30hrs on the Beta, so I can't wait to get my hands on it tomorrow ('mon the Titans!) It'll be this and FIFA that'll keep me going for the rest of the year, I reckon.
