  1. Wonder would playing in england make the club more appealling to investment as well from some of those mad arab types who have more money than sense
  2. And yet some still see this as the only show in town and want to remain in it
  3. I love how people who earned millions from the club dissapear when the going gets tough and then re-appear to offer advice to those who stepped in
  4. Very sad news and thoughts are with Robert's family.................
  5. I would fully support a move to the Irish Premier League were the most sucessful club side in the world can play the second most sucessful club side in the world, sort of like a world cup for club sides
  6. I was the guy in that video's apprentice many years ago in belfast, he moved to liverpool 10 year ago were as pointed out there is a large PUL community a community which as flute bands, accordion bands, orange lodges, ABOD, somme societies etc etc at the heart of it, not only only do they have that common bond with many rangers fan's because of that they also know first hand what it is like as a club to have a large number of fans young and old go to a match and never return, a minutes applause as an act of rememberance is not my cup of tea either but in the absence of a minutes silence at the begining of a match it was a tremdous gesture and a very heart felt one as well. On the subject of that fateful day my step father was on stairway thirteen and escaped many years later when the hillsbourgh disaster unfurled on our TV screens he suddenly burst into tears as what was happening on the screen triggered some sort of flash back so the similarities are there
  7. A big thanks to the thread starter as i was able to record this on BBC scotland on virgin, used to love watching these years ago as i used to get them sent over on video tape (remember those lol) on the programme content thought we got away a bit lightly considering all the goings on, very funny in parts enjoyed the orange lodge gangham style
  8. Some of the players might very well use this forum, hardly going to do there confidence the world of good to be labelled as a dud, very ironic someone mentioned young crawford who had an off day on saturday along with most round him, done and dusted now as the 3 points have been added to our tally, the time to judge anyone is when they play week in week out and in the right position
  9. This will end up like the life of brian with people selling false beards outside the grounds, my wife had no interest in football untill a few years back when my son was mascot at our local team (linfield) she started going and now has a season ticket i agree the high pitched squealing from some is unbearable as is trying to explain offside but each to there own
  10. Might be a blessing in disguise nuts enough without the devils butter milk
  11. I remember watching McKay last season at the games against us at windsor last year bags and bags of pace a lad who just loves to put his head down and run at people his final ball will get better with time the only thing that would worry me about the 2 of them would be them getting the "were's the burds" feeling or being looked at by teams in england
