  1. RANGERS director Imran Ahmad is being forced out of Ibrox after Walter Smith and Ally McCoist were “stabbed in the back” in a series of explosive online rants. Messages posted under a pseudonym on a fans’ website attacked the pair for “trying to take control of the club without putting any money in”. Electronic evidence handed to the club yesterday suggests the messages were linked to Ahmad’s official Rangers email account. Yesterday, an investigation by Rangers It staff centred on a workstation used by Ahmad. In the latest extraordinary twist in the Rangers crisis, Ahmad – a key lieutenant of ousted chief executive Charles Green – is also being shown the Ibrox door. The club are preparing an “exit package” for Ahmad, who is not expected to be seen again at Ibrox. The posts – under the pseudonym IamRangers – give a commentary on the power struggle in the boardroom. Among other revelations, IamRangers stated: * Charles Green would return to the club as chairman once he’d “destroyed” Craig Whyte. * Malcolm Murray wasn’t “chairman material”. * Murray and Smith were “running Rangers into the ground by not cutting costs at Murray Park from £10million to £5million”. He also expressed a desire to see Whyte “get hot tar all over his b******s after he’s been destroyed in court”. It is understood commercial director Ahmad, who is a major shareholder, will not return to the club after the board were tipped off that the posts on the Rangers Media website were from Ahmad. Last night, a club insider said: “The board are currently investigating. Certainly there is a lot of detailed information in these posts. “Negotiations are being held over a package with a view to Ahmad leaving the business. “He is still an employee and hasn’t been found guilty of anything but it is unlikely he will be back at Ibrox.” Andy Kerr, of the Rangers Supporters Assembly, said: “If it is the case these postings have come from Mr Ahmad, it is disgraceful and more evidence of the turmoil the club is in. “To stab men like Walter Smith and Ally McCoist in the back is disgraceful given their service to the club. “It’s bad enough when fans are slagging off the club and one another on the internet, so if there is evidence a director has done this he has to go.” The IamRangers username on the Rangers Media forum posted dozens of times over the last month on Green’s issues with the board, possible share purchases, and views on McCoist and Smith. He made his thoughts on Smith and McCoist clear when he said they were “trying to take control of the club without putting any money in”. Another message claimed Green and Ahmad had the ability to call an EGM and sack the entire board if they didn’t get their way. The poster also claims that once Whyte’s club ownership claims have been dealt with, Green will return as chairman. He said: “Green wants to destroy CW first. CG will return as chairman once CW publicly shamed again and this time he’s going to get hot tar all over his b******s after he’s been destroyed in court.” Another stated: “Not too happy about MM/WS/IH/PC trying to fire CG.” Then he posted news that Greenock bus tycoon Sandy Easdale was poised to buy Green’s shares, adding “29 per cent of the entire issued share capital” in a move that would mean he’d control the club. The poster says several times that Whyte has forged the documents relating to his appointment as a director of Sevco 5088. He also tries to explain cash sent to Ahmad’s mother’s account by parties connected to Whyte. On April 19, IamRangers posted that “he believed Ahmad “controls circa 40%- 50% of the company as all the initial investors are his... He’ll then call an EGM and vote the PLC board off”. On claims that associates of Whyte put money into an account belonging to Ahmad’s mother, IamRangers said: “Whyte was humoured, ie for CVA, Green and Ahmad had to make Whyte believe he was part of process, so they told him to send £500k to a separate account so as not to mix his cash with their cash. Whyte sent £137.5k late, undervalued ie not £500k. Legally that was the end of Whyte’s involvement as he failed at first hurdle.” On Whyte’s claims he owned Rangers through Sevco, the poster said: “These are forged documents. Whyte is just adding to his list of crimes.” The posts are the latest twist in the Rangers saga that this week saw Ahmad and Green reported to the Serious Fraud Office by the company fighting Whyte’s legal battle for control of Rangers. In a statement to the stock exchange yesterday, the Worthington Group, of whom Whyte is a shareholder, effectively declared open war on the pair. Green quit Rangers last week after being confronted over his links to Whyte, and it emerged on Wednesday he wants to sell his shareholding to bus tycoon James Easdale. James’s brother Sandy, who now also owns a chunk of Rangers, has spent time in jail for fraud. The legal battle is likely to focus on the ownership of Sevco 5088 and whether this was the vehicle used to buy Rangers’ assets from administrators Duff & Phelps. Rangers have denied Sevco had been used by Green to buy the club. But Worthington’s letter to the stock exchange would appear to refute this.

  3. Typical of Smith, want to be pals with people who hate us. He is so out of touch its unreal. :-(
  4. Sevco5088 has nothing to do with the takeover by Sevco Scotland. The mhedia love to muddy the waters in this regard.
  5. I love the view up in the CD, you can see the shape of the team so well but the leg room is a joke.
  6. They had the 3 sections under the screen but only sold the middle section to start with. We asked if they thought they would sell enough to need to 2 other sections either side and they said no so we put them on sale and have sold all but 2 seats. Away seciton not a big problem as they have a tiny wee bit and hopefull sell most of them as well. Its looking good for 50k+
  7. Am going to edit the OP each time I do a re-count, most people getting paid this week so hoping it can sell out this weekend.
  8. I see no reason not to give rangers money, the current situation is not as bad as its being made out. ;-)
  9. OK so we have 10 more days to get this game sold out. I have done a count based on the website and this is what we have. Copland - SOLD OUT Govan - SOLD OUT Bar 72 - SOLD OUT Broomloan - 14 Enclosures - 72 (All restricted view) Main Stand Front - 15 Main Stand Rear - 383 (90% restricted view) Club Deck - 415 Grand Total - 899 (approx 400 restricted view) Lets get this sold out and finally break through the 50K mark! If you are a ST holder who cant go call the ticket office and they will sell your seat and you get 50% of the secordary sale money off your ST next year.
  10. I know, and I am glad people do buy season tickets as its money in the bank early on and allows the club to budget but its not nesesary these days for the fans. Nothing stopping people doing it but its not for me right now. This obsession with sitting in the same seat every week is bizarre IMO, its just a seat.
  11. Dont see why anyone needs a season tickets while we are in the lower leagues TBH. I have been to 9 games in the league this season and it will be 10 after the Berwick game. Including the booking fee each ticket in section MRT has cost me £17.50 so thats £175, if I had gone to the other 8 it would have been £315. No problem getting any tickets to game so no need for a ST IMO.
  12. Saying he was not worthy of respect as a person was a shocking statement IMO.
  13. I was labled a tim on this site the minute I posted, the next week I was labed Chris Greaham. Can people not just respect the opinion of others and debate the points, the childness of it is cringworthy?
  14. Maybe you should read the thread about zero tolerance of abuse of Rangers players and fellow posters. The posters like you on this messageboard are oozing with jeloulsy and its pathetic.
  15. Pathetic thread TBH. Toe the RM party line or be sin died for having a different opinion.
  16. Dont give this nobody the coverage he is looking for. Ignor him and he will go away.
  17. Signing players and not paying for them, sounds like financial doping to me. When can we expect an SFA fine for DU....
  18. Only club deck tickets available for 2 seats together (or restricted view). Less than 100 single seats left outside the main stand and mostly restricted view the Enclosures and main stand. Lets finally break the 50,000 mark for this game.
  19. A small stall next to international arrivals at the airport giving out leaflets about Ibrox tours. All the details - times, subways, phone number for block bookings on it and 10% off when you present the attached voucher. A big sign as well "Scotland's Most Successful Club" "Director for the Day". A raffel at each home game, the winner gets a place for them and a friend who get the matchday experiance of a dirctor. Murray (sic) Park tours. Murray (sic) Park sponsorship - see Man U before you complain.
  20. Good stuff, Charles clearly knows more about how to take a club forward than McCoist. Barry Ferguson and Boyd will be next on his list. Why doesnt he just go the whole hog and bring back Hately.
