Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is currently free on the PlayStation 4.. Offer ends tomorrow though so get it downloaded as soon as possible! Street Fighter 5 is a PS4 exclusive.. also features cross platform multiplayer with the PC.

How's that possible!? It's published by EA and they've been ramming it down everyone's throats for well over as year! (it was showcased at all the major conventions and shows including E3) It's made by Bioware.. the same guys who make the Mass Effect games. The first Dragon Age was out in 2009 and it was billed as a spiritual successor to Baldurs Gate. Wasn't a huge seller on the consoles but it did well enough.. was far better received by the the PC gaming community and it won a shit tonne of awards.

I'll need to pick up a Wii U..

Looking forward to the Video game awards tonight.. First time i've said that in years! Hopefully some big announcements tonight and this weekend at the PS experience show.

Leaked earlier today.. releases fall 2015 and is set in Victorian London. Really wish Ubisoft focused on quality over quantity.. this has the makings of a great game but Ubi do seem determined to ruin this franchise.

Sherlock Homes: Crime and Punishment sounds like something you'd be after.. received far better reviews than Murdered: Soul Suspect

Dragon Age is by far the best game out so far. (on the new consoles) It looks amazing graphically, some of the environments in particular are breathtaking. Not to mention they are huge and full of things to see and do.. and none of it feels grindy because of Biowares top quality story telling. Running around completing all the side quests doesn't feel like a chore because everything has a reason behind it. It also plays great, the combat is deep and tactical whilst still offering a visceral experience to those who crave lots of action.. Personally I'm enjoying having to think whilst playing a game for a change! I have put at least 30 hours in and i still haven't scratched the surface..(not counting numerous character restarts). I won't need another game for quite sometime! Will scoop Game of the year.. no doubts about it! The only game that can touch this will be the Witcher 3...

So far Dragon Age deserves every bit of praise it's received.. definitely a strong contender for Game of the year.

It's pretty much a reskin of Far Cry 3.

To be fair a 7/10 is still pretty decent. +Graphics improved +Core gameplay improved +/- New modes are interesting but could do with being fleshed out - Customisation has been stripped back, no way to create your own titles, arenas, women wrestlers and storylines - Some gimmick matches have been removed i.e. inferno, i quit etc, 4 man ladder matches etc (though you can have 6 player ladder matches) Sounds like a solid starting point on the next gen.

Hopefully Injustice in December is the start of bigger titles appearing on PS+.. Although i'm not a huge fan of fighting games i'd love to give it a try. Personally i'm more excited for Infamous: First light in January. Batman has been delayed until June btw.
