I cant get access to Bears Den.

He was excellent second half against Rapid and along with Kent our best player yesterday. When he went off we lost our flow. Like a few in squad, he needs to prove he can perform away from Ibrox in The league..

Tbf, he was played at left side of midfield against Dundee and St Johnstone and for some reason right side of Midfield against Livingston whilst Arfield was CDM.. He’s exactly what we’ve needed in a CDM for years so play him there.

Sooner we get Grezda up to speed the better..

I think he’s the ideal player for the home games. He was bossing it yesterday when he got took off ( Gerrard says he had tightness) but it killed the flow to our game.

Kinda get what Goat is saying. I actually think the Substitution of Ejaria had a negative effect. When he went off our midfield doesn’t have a ball player.

The past two games when being played as CDM he’s been terrific, especially today when he was the shield to that thing they had up front.

The ability to grind out wins isn’t purely about Skill but sometimes more to do with will to win and desire.. Hearts seem to be managing it ok just now.New squad and new to the mincer that is Scottish football.

We had quite a few poor performances per season under Walter but what his team did have was an ability to grind out results when playing poor. I ‘ve seen nothing so far to suggest this team has that ability.

That was kinda my point.

It’s a scrap at these places yet yesterday we went with the guy who’s been playing CAM in a defensive midfield role. I think with Ejaria folk think him doing a nice wee turn 50 yards from their goal is him doing well. He plays deep for us most games. I struggle to see what type of player he actually is tbh.

Said it after first time i seen him but Ejaria shouldn’t be starting in most of our away games and neither should Candeias. Two of McCrorie/Jack/Coulibaly should be in there (depending on game) Arfield as Cam, Kent and Grezda on wings and lafferty or Morelos up front.

Another worry is the fact that a guy we paid a couple of million for (Grezda) couldn’t get on yesterday when chasing a goal.

Fancy us at Ibrox but Hearts will try and bully us and hope to take advantage of our inability to deal with cross balls and set-pieces.

The Success in Europe gives Gerrard a bit of leeway. Domestic wise, we’ve been fucking pitiful away from home, Gerrard has made a cunt of team selection in three of those games.
