Why would you change a defence that have played with each other twice so far & kept 2 clean sheets in they games? That is what we need to start this season a level of consistence far to many times last season we changed it about.

Travel cost i dont see as a big problem due to alot of us have done it before, as for gate money there could be the possibility of a shared gate as done before when we played linfield away.

I'd make one change from saturday due to type of pitch were playing on - Crawford for Shiels. Gallagher McAusland Faure McCulloch Wallace Black Crawford Law Macleod Little Daly Subs:- Smith Shiels Templeton Mckay Gasparotto Aird Mitchell Dont know why people are thinking we should start Temps & Shiels they are just back from injures, give them the last 20mins if required no point rushing them back this early on in the season! As for defence why change it from saturday? Clean sheet = no need to change Mitchell hasnt played at all this season so why fling him in & change the defence that kept a clean sheet on saturday??

Talking to a few folk in my local RSC & we were discussing since we have no European football for another 2 years due to the 3 year ban & no midweek league cup games this season, why do we not organise midweek friendly’s against the likes of Hamburg Liverpool etc away during the season bit like what we did 2 years ago? As im sure a alot of fellow bears would like a wee trip over to Hamburg again or even a trip down to Liverpool (When was last time we played them at Anfield?) & this would also be great experience for alot of the players for when we do make our return to the big stage & an ideal opportunity for us to grow an even greater friendship with the likes of Hamburg etc! One friendly id like us to play & amazed that we haven’t orgainsed yet is Wigan as a thanks for their hospitality a few years ago before we played Man Utd at old Trafford, they welcomed us with open arms that day while the rest didn’t want us anywhere near them. Love the journey we’ve had so far with the away trips to Scotland’s smaller grounds but miss my European away games just like the rest of you's I’m sure?

Heard a wee RUMOUR that due to talks with Boris Pandza now dead. Super will now invite Titus Bramble (many times has he been linked with us?) up to MP for a trial next week & play him in a closed door friendly planned for next Monday. Me personally do not feel we need this animal at our club, not only is he a bombscare this is a man that was once charged for rape! & with Faure playing well, Mohshi impressing in pre season & McCulloch + Gasparotto as perfect back up to these 2 i do not feel we require another CB on the books.
