  1. Ian Black will be 30 in March, what are the chances of him learning to 'lose the silly stuff' now if he hasn't managed to do it in all these years? McDowall seems to be from the same media schooling as Ally when talking complete pish. Black and McDowall both have to leave before the club can start progressing.

Something tells me mcdowall will go after we play the thims. Damage limitation until then, then a fresh manager. Probably not fair to have him tainted by that game when ally et all had effin months to prepare for it and did sfa!

  2. Yes John Grieg signed him and McCoist was utter shite.

Then Sounness came in and discovered how pish he was and was turning up late for Training and was a liability.

McCoist was a joker but never put much work into training and his game at that point, then Sounness benched him to teach him to change.

It worked under him, but he seemed to have went back to what he was like under JG when he retired playing.

Thanks mate. Am certain that the singing thing was true. Also remember a good few of our fans were backing mccoist over souness.

We need to get away from this.

That is mccoist, ferguson, boyd that I can think of that when challenged by our manager, we backed the effin player. We defo deserve everything we get.

  3. What does it matter?

He got it and f***ed it up. End of.

    So wrong above..

Have u seen the faure thread?? Knowling what ally did so wrong guides us in what we expect.from the new manager. We are rangwrs. Our standards should be so much higher than others in this country. Fitness, ball control, dribbling, movement . Out manager should set and expect the highest standards. We cannot have a repeat of palsy walsy ally. So it effin is important. Call it a standard closedown review.

  4. That interview shows how badly we have been managed for the last few years.

Whoever comes in next is going to have a rebellion on his hands from certain players when they try and change things.

Some more senior players will have to go for the good of our club and I hope whoever we bring in is strong enough to do that.

start with boyd the chest thumper. Should never have been brought back after that.
  5. I worked with a boy that grew up in the Rangers youth teams, i believe he made the benches of the first team a couple of times. Anyway, he ended up playing in Australia and now plays junior football back here.

I've told this story plenty of times before but when Le Guen came in he changed everything, the training, the fitness, and the canteen food. They went from fucking burgers and chips to dry pasta, it's part of the reason players hated him and took the huff.

Balls should have been kicked in that dressing room there and then, sadly this culture of eating what you want will always exist unless we have a le guen will balls come in one day.

Would be interested.in llambias view. Not just managers view needed.

These are not just normal employees. We buy and sell them!!!!

  6. Think everyone did in Div 3.

There was a feel good factor about being a ger, a defiance among the fans that we will rally and show everyone we will stand strong. The crowds, atmosphere and all round feeling at the start of the journey was great.

Slowly but surely the football on show and Allys leadership sapped a hell of a lot of optimism and desire away from the fan base and most knew by that point there was no way back. I just wish the decision was made 2 years earlier and maybe we would be in a very different place today

    Ach well!

    *****************

    Two years earlier????

I won a bet that we would not win the league under mccoist recently. U know the guy was still sticking by mccoist after he resigned until he went to cut his grass and water his tomato plants. We really do deserve everything we get.

It is not just a case of mccoist doing the job badly. It is a case of him not doing the job at all. From negotiating salary down, setting fitness targets etc. He bought players and left them to get on with it. Dereliction of duty. I have a real dislike of him now.

  7. If he's been told to rest on his oars for a bit then - in the absence of definitive news from the Club - it might infer he is to have no say in which of the players on loan come back or that his decision making ability is not trusted or valued. Speculation of course.

More speculation - probaby not really helpful but since the coaching staff have done nothing helpful this season in producing match winning teams I'm all out of generosity to them - if as Miller spouted out to the press the team has no confidence and does not trust each other then there must surely be some sort of look into what the coaching staff and the former Manager have allowed to happen at MP that creates this circumstance. If there have been ineffective voices or disruptive voices or dismissive voices or just plain 'haven't got a clue what to do' voices in coaching and in management then that would be no basis for instilling confidence. If there has been a lack of creative, decisive, compelling, motivational coaching that instils hunger and pride into the team then that would be a failure. And for such a failure then its best if contributing causes are identifed and removed. I really don't know whether he is even remotely in the mould I've just described - but there has clearly been (and still remains) a severe lack of effective leadership and coaching that produces winning performances and that being the case then just carrying on regardless is not an option.

Could be DL has put the management and coaching team in a vice where their comfort zone of MP has been upturned. If the terms are fix it of fuck off or if you don't do either then life becomes very very uncomortable. It happens in many walks of life and maybe its happening to the Rangers back room staff now. Just speculation and I could be a million miles wrong.

I so hope u are correct
  8. If you ran a business would you employ any of these chancers who are clearly crap at there jobs? Not a chance, Durrant has been living off his injury at Rangers for years, it's long overdue he was showing the door.

u talking about.the board?? tell me how they are crap at their jobs.

Sorry misread. See u were talking about our management team.

  9. The volume needed? Most of the money is going to Ashley anyway so the guy wins either way. Season ticket money stays in the club so Ashley won't care about that. Also Rangers are on national tv pretty much every week so advertising is going to be very good value for money at rangers.

He has outlayed as much as he has taken out. If you take into account the money we will lose by not getting shirt sponsorship money, shirt sales and stadium advertising money. He will wave these small loans for they privileges. So in essence he will have got lol of this out of our club for nothing, zero.

Meaning he can get his company advertised on nation tv every week for fuck all , win lose or draw.

Do you really think he gives a flying fuck about the club or its traditions or fans?

Why hasn't he told McDowell to get to fuck and brought in a new manager, why hasn't he realeased a statement to the fans?

We have the warnings right in front of us, and also coming loud and proud from Newcastle fans.

Yet it is easier just to dismiss it as bullshit, can Newcastle fans idiots etc.

ffs. Would people still keep buying jerseys if we were languishing in the championship or not competing in the premiership??? I think not. You dont see that many gers tops on people just walking about the.shops these days other than matchdays. How many gers tops do u thonk will continue to be sold if we continue to be rank rotten and on a downward spiral to oblivion???? Ashley would get much more money from a successful rangers.
  10. Fuck me man

Some of you mongos can't see the wood for the trees

Same as whyte, same as green, the warning signs are there yet fuckwits refuse to look at them until it's too late

Ashley has managed to hoover up all that as well as pretty much running the club for a minimal outlay

If you take into account the money he has made for said revenue streams he probably has got all this for nothing

We will always sell strips, we will always sell tickets. We will sell more if we are doing well but we will sell them none the less.

I would love to see the figures of what ashley has put in vs. what he has taken out .

He then loans us back our own money, how nice of him.

The sad thing is that we have no other option and he knows that, but the SFA will just keep blocking him meaning we are fucked.

King will also get a KB from Pete the jap and his merry men, leaving this new bid from d.park etc, but do you think these guys have the serious cash to get us back to the top? I looks as if the board (llambias) has already dismissed this bid and is looking for different investment, or how I read that is stalling for time until ashley can appeal SFA decision and let him buy the shares.

If Ashley can't buy the shares and is not willing to punt Newcastle he should do the right thing, get llambias to fuck and let others buy them up, but I fear he will just keep providing small loans and further increase his grip on us with no real end game in sight

so absolutely no substance in what u say at all. We will not "always sell kit and jerseys" in the volume needed. How many season tickets do u think we would sell right now?? Not many I warrant. Also what value advertising to ashley if we are not successful????
  11. When people say, "Ashley only benefits if we are doing well." This is exactly the same argument people used with Green.

more like green saw thru mccostalot, sussed that too many of our fans would back mcsalary no matter how shit he was. So he took his money and ran before mccoist pissed it all away. I ask again. How are kit deals etc worth anything without customers. Cmon then.
  12. llambias is there to protect mike Ashleys interest and nothing else

He will Make sure no one can get their money in while there is a change fat mike can get his in for some more assets

Ashley already has all the merchandise money and now looks like he has the strip sponsorship for fuck all as well

What other revenue streams do we have left? Season tickets that are in a huge decline that's about it.

Ashley is talking everything he can from this club he can for the least amount in

heavens effin wept. Just shows u dont think things through. For all these "assets" u are claiming ma is stealing to be worth anything it needs CUSTOMERS IE US!!!!

If rangers are not doing well, we do not buy the jerseys, we do not go to the games etc.

Great kit deal etc then eh????

Tell me how ashley benefits if we are not doing well????

  13. If it is a drinking offence then he has quite rightly been suspended from work. If it is a move to put pressure on him, and the rest to resign, then it is a sordid tactic. Think of our traditions, this is not the way Rangers Football Club do things and it shows how far we have fallen if we resort to this.

pish. No more sordid than taking big bucks from a struggling company for a job u cannot do!!!!
  14. Give me reasons why not.

Everyone is saying flatly no despite the mans proven ability to straighten clubs out.

Wake up and smell the coffee people-Jimmy Calderwood is NOT beaneath is. The arrogance has to end, look where it has gotten us.

it is a sign of a support living in the past that some of these people reject this out of hand mate. Offer them boyd as manager they will bite ur hand off.
