pishSorry but this is a negotiating position and if the board have the best interests of this club at heart, they will pay up now.....
Me thinks there may well be problems ofekin confidentiality clause.....
Again, i dont understand the board ....the longer they delay the less likely a promotion....take away the rights / feelings about McCoist......if it goes to court McCoist gets his dues .....
Ultimately, this mess is the board's mess... yes McCoist is a crap manager and needs to go, the fact the board cannot facilitate this when he has effectively resigned is fekin outrage.
Given recent history, ofcourse the board has the best interests of the fans and club at heart ....<ahem>
Who on the board signed the chancer. Deflect why dont u

Lets go to the match and change his effin mind..
Man up bears.
-
he does not set the playing budget. He is given one he needs to manage however. And he has failed miserably there.Nowhere has it said that the manager was responsible for deciding the salary of incoming players.
And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the manager doesn't set the playing budget, or authorise the "investment" or the expenditure.
Unless of course you wear your underpants over your trousers and have a big "S" on your chest......ohhhh wait a minute, is that where the "Super" Ally phrase came from?
-
cause he is the team manager. What else is he going to do?? Bear in mind he admitted he was in the dressing room once a fortnight on averge, so he was not motivating the team, he wasnt controlling his playing budget. What the hell WAS he doing? Why was he deciding the wage?
What expierence did he have to actually be doing that?
It's no wonder our wage bill is a coimplete embarrassment.
-
rubbish. As someone who deals with contract law on a daily basis, I promise u it can be ammended if ally is willing. Which he isnt.I would doubt it as he's offically leaving.
-
ok so it is just another chance to pop at the board while ignore how we are getting it tight off our supposed hero. He's no sayshun anything of the sort
-
are u saying u have seen his contract and the board can terminate it without paying compensayshun?Where have I said, in ANY of the posts I've made in the subject said it's the boards fault? If the board wanted rid they could have terminated his deal with immediate effect citing poor results as the cause. (as is allowed in Ally's deal) instead they have chose not to and, imo, are using the situation to give them an easier ride at the AGM next week when, as long as Ally remains in post, he will be the main target for supporters & shareholders displeasure
-
dont give us that shite. The manager is a key role in any club. Mccoist is failing to get us promoted. How specifically is that the boards fault?? I challenge u.You mean the board want to use Ally to deflect from their own ineptitude? Nah. Can't believe that
-
I actually think this is what the board want. Reckon we are in a war of attrition with ally now. If we are silent we deserve what we get.
-
there was a time before heanaged the kiddy fiddlers when I would have taken him. He understands the game well. Came across a few times when he was commentating on gamea.Strachan for manager.
-
...we wouldn't have won 9 in a row.
What u mean the same as we never won anything after we.got shot of boyd????
-
so ally does not need to give statements without preparation but the board does???I genuinely believe that he should only have that discussion with his employer first.
U are at it mate.
-
There are posters on this board I am seriously questioning the allegiance of. I reckon they should be on the torbett trumpet boards. To put ally before our club.....
-
so when should we have got rid of him? I think he shpuld have been in charge given we had no time to find a successor thanks to ally. It was another epic effin fail to solidify the support against him. What about what I said there was defending him?
He shouldn't have been in charge of the team on Friday, but our inaction has him still at work today, and presumably tomorrow. It is an embarrassing way for us to go about our business.
-
u dont have talk some rubbish. Anything to defend poor we rich allys feelings. We should have released a comm on Friday that said what the comm said this morning, only we should have spelt his name correctly.
Thanks for telling me what I would have thought about them doing so. For the record, I think their comment about his salary was unrequired and I hate that this is how we now negotiate with staff. Fact is that a whole lot of people want rid of him, and that forums lead to polarised views, so they have turned against him and will be against him regardless of the situation, you will think I am the opposite to this, but I will disagree.
You have.not said he us a good manager so I assume you agree he is totally shite. I understand and agree with u. I cannot understand why, given he is so appallingly untalented, u dont just eant him to feck out of our club?? Who comea first ? Ally or rangers?
-
as would allyTrust this board more than me then. Obviously they want him gone, but I don't doubt they would be ruthless in taking advantage of any loophole for profit.
-
why not give it to rangers?Dont be surprised if Ally gets a settlement and donates it to charity
Watch this space.
-
u just ignore others arguments dont u. There are times when doing nothing is exactly the correct course of action. We have a manager for the next twelve months. If rangers had made an announcement u would have used it against them to accuse them of spivery, un professionalism etc. I ask again. What should the board have said? What if mccoist did not what situation with HIS job announced?I think the club screwed this up from a comms perspective. Like we have screwed a lot up from a comms perspective.
We have a rudderless executive that seem happier talking in leaks to the press than in making open decisions, and I think it is pretty pathetic.
On the same token, as I have said in other threads, if Ally leaked the story on Friday, equally pathetic playing leak games in the media.
-
nah. In this instance rangers and the board are one and the same.Found it too difficult to say Board..
-
could ally have imformed us?PLC companies do not need to tell the stock exchange first in regards to the dismissal or resignation of a manager unless he is a board member, director CEO etc. Get your bloody facts right before you start spouting pish. They could have informed us the fans before the stock exchange but they chose not to.
-
Will you give rangers ANY credit for ANYTHING? or any benefit of the doubt? To be fair, S.E. was still open on Friday, and this statement could have been knocked up pretty quick, it was all it should have been and needed to be.
Or does that all reside with Ally the angel?
Jeeze he is not even expected to achieve a standard of excellence on the field.
-
What can they say that has not been released through the proper official channels??????Simply put will you please talk to us the fans and tell us what is going on ? We are the supporters of the club,we are the lifeblood of the club,we are the biggest part of the club, without us there is no club. If you want bums back on seats you have to talk. It is the number 1 rule in running a successful business, talking to your customers !
It's not too much to ask and believe it or not it is your duty and your way forward in bringing the support back together long term !
Ally has resigned - check
He has a years notice - check
He is claiming his old salary - check
What else do you want them to say? As it stands under the law we still have a manager for the next 12 months. Why put ourselves at risk of a court appearance under employment law by disclosing elements of an employees private contractual affairs???
-
Exactly what the board should have done. Let the supporters of mccoist fc see how they have been getting it tight without even knowing it.
Supa awy supa awy awy awy awy
Aye right
-
still clutching at steaws to defend him I see. Notice u have not answered my question about whether he is a shambolic manager or not? Here is another one. Do u think he is a money grabber who led our supporters a merry dance??Do you think he just decides what his salary is?
You Don't Want Davies...

We need to be aware of something here. Even more important than who mcsalary replacement is, is the terms of the contract he is hired on. That is what keeps an employee keen. If he is hired on silar terms to mcsalary were are stuffed.
Davies has something to prove however.
