  1. You have expressed your opinion on three occasions now so why don't you just leave it at that.
  2. Remember when we beat them midweek at Hampden in the pishing rain.McCoist scored the winner when we were down to ten men.Think it was Scottish cup semi if I remember right.
  3. You have a look at my quotes regarding DK and you will see I have never said I was a fan of his or any of them there past or present so don't start your pish that DK is my hero. I am not a member of any fans group and don't give a toss for the likes of Houston who I admit I know very little about as I have no interest in petty supporters squabbles either like many who go to the game dont. I very rarely go into the boardroom section either as I like most are not multi millionaire business men and would not presume to tell multi millionaires how to run a business. What I have said if you care to look is that first and foremost they are business men and business men are in the business of making money. You have to stop getting your knickers in a twist and deal with the reality of the situation. There is no multi billionaire waiting to pump his millions into Rangers ( even when we had an 18m manageable debt) so the sooner you and a few others get that into your heads the better.Every other day there is a thread on here going over the same old pish about DK 30 million. When are you and others going to realise that no matter how many posts or threads are made asking the same fucking question it is not going to change. You sir are letting your hatred of DK and others blind yourself from the fact that we are where we are.Deal with it like the thousands of others do.There is no quick fix, and that is a fact.
  4. Not great players as such but by fuck they didn't half moan and challenge the refs decisions. In fact that big coo headed bastard Aitken took the shy that day in the final a few years later which caught us on the hop and I think it was Joe Miller who stuck it away.Blatant throw in to Rangers but Aitken fucked us right over and got away with it.
  5. That's right it has fuck all to do with what WH is talking about in some fucking rag like the DR but you are the guy who brought it up the 18 million manageable debt. As far as a potential tax liability ( EBT ) do you honestly think multi millionaires wouldn't have looked at the situation regarding the EBT tax case and had knowledgeable people look into the viability/legality of the EBT system and drawn their own conclusions. How come no one including the people who are there now believed SDM when he said that there would be no EBT tax case to answer or was it just the case that some did but weren't interested in taking anything to do with the club and conveniently used the big scary EBT tax case as an excuse for not investing in the club.Ive said before on here and I say yet again DK is a politician and business man first and he will tell you what you want to hear and deliver what he decides.Unless there is someone out there who wants to part with plenty to buy DK and whoever out and then invest further millions with very little or no hope of getting it back then we are where we are. Those are the facts no matter what WH has to say in that fucking rag the DR.
  6. If the club were managing there 18 million debt then why did no one apart from Whyte think it was such a good business proposition. After all SDM had been trying to offload the club for long enough before Whyte came along there was plenty of time for genuine real business men to buy the club if it was such a good venture.
  7. Reminds me of his bloomer with McCoist after he brought Ally down he tried to dive and save the ball and stop Walters from scoring at Ibrox. He really was a fucking dumpling.
  8. Big Aitken at his usual greetin faced best.Remember Davie Cooper picking up the ball for penalty while everyone were going mental round about him.No doubt who was taking that penalty and no doubt in my mind he would put it away.
  9. Perhaps but as you say we do not walk in those circles and then we are back at the bottomless pit scenario and who is willing not to invest but to lose their money. There is a difference between investment and knowingly throwing millions at something with no chance of a return never mind profit.I do believe it was yourself who came up with at least one decent suggestion about ST holders contributing to a team improvement fund.43 k ST holders paying so much a month towards a team improvement only fund.I think it was yourself and that is at least an idea rather than the usual get rid of and get this guy or this board etc etc.If it wasn't you I apologise but if it was at least its an idea. How many would buy into it I do not know but its an idea.
  10. I don't know anyone involved in any fans groups to be honest. There are 15/6 of us who travel mostly to the home games and every one of us is a ST holder and all we want to do is go to the game and watch Rangers winning. Most of us are old enough to remember the days of Mr Greig and before so we know we will have our good and bad days.None of us really interested in the politics and good or bad we leave the big business to the men who are business men.We don't claim to have the answers to big business and that's my point on here.Like most we just want a simple life and to see the team winning again. Then going back to the club and getting foooo.
  11. I am not against the board doing their actual job where have I said that.Like you I do not know what goes on at boardroom level as none of us walk in those circles as you say.You are the one who seems to think they are not doing their job and attracting investment.I am merely pointing out that perhaps, just perhaps we are not as good and attractive investment as some seem to think.Perhaps the board are trying to attract investment but no one is interested has this occurred to you.Perhaps existing share holders are not interested in selling their shares at rock bottom as you say to someone else who will then see them go the only way you say they will go which is up according to you. What IF an existing shareholder/s did sell their shares at rock bottom and what IF that buyer invested in the team to push for the title and what IF that push was successful and what IF they qualified for CL football after playing 2/3 qualifying rounds and what IF they get knocked out by another Malmo and what IF without CL football income we are left like in the past with players getting paid tens of thousands a week to play against the might of European football in Partick Thistle and what IF those shares that were on the up are now rapidly on the down.Theres a lot of IFs in there maybe to many for most if not all potential investors.
  12. Sorry sir take nothing to do with any of that kind of stuff to be honest. Not particularly interested in any of those groups or individuals.Like many I buy my ST go along and support the team.Dont feel the need to be part of any particular fans group but up to each individual to do what they want.
  13. I will ask again who are these people you think are waiting at the door?who are these people wanting to spend/invest in any form of major investment in the club whether it be advertising, sponsorship whatever form that investment might take not just buying out existing shareholders.I am not up to speed with legal side of things and whether the dubious court cases etc have any effect on the share/stock exchange scenario but would you be interested in investing in any business with dubious court cases hanging over it, poor retail deals etc etc no one quite certain what way things are going to go.I very much doubt it.
  14. Do you think the board are not trying to find alternative investment. Perhaps the reason they are stuggling to find decent investment is that no one with real investment is interested in investing in the backwater of European football.People invest to get something back, might be for profit, might be for advertising, promoting a name or service. These people have to weigh up the outlay/investment v return and perhaps as much as some maybe don't want to admit it at this time we as a club and Scottish football are not exactly at the top of the outlay v return table. If there is nothing to get back from their investment well it wont matter who the board is they are not going to invest.
  15. Well we will never know the whole story but why didn't they want to sell there has to be a reason if that was the case and as we all know everything has a price just depends how much you want to pay.
  16. IF he was interested and IF he thought that he could do a good job and turn things round WHY did he not pay the money and buy himself into the club regardless of what DK said. Not being funny but you don't know as I don't know why he didn't but if he felt that he could achieve something surely a successful business man would have pushed on regardless of DK etc.
  17. Tell us who is interested in buying out King,Taylor,Ashley,Easdale,Park,Letham do tell.Give us 2/3 individuals or financial institutions who you know or think would be interested in buying into Rangers. Yourself sir along with a few others do not like DK and that is entirely up to you.I am no great fan either as I believe that all business men are exactly that first and foremost but you have not come up with one solid name/individual/or institution who you know or believe would be interested in buying out any of the above major shareholders and investing the money that you and others want.I did not see any of these potential investors stepping forward including King when SDM had the club up for sale.I also did not see any apart from the above stepping forward with investment when the club was floated by CG. I ask again give us some names of people who are or would be interested in investing in the club.
  18. Not disagreeing with you sir but we should still of had enough in the tank to beat Kilmarnock last Friday.Anyone who was at the match could see in the first half we were all over the place. Not just the defense but everyone.Yes we have players to come back but guys like Crooks,Garner,Senderos have hardly if at all contributed and Holt and Windass haven't played a great deal.Choices yes but MW has to start making the right choices we cant play everyone so some and hopefully the right players play and the others don't.Last season his choices were limited this season he has more but he has to start being ruthless and drop those needing dropped.
  19. I am as big a fan of MW and what he is trying to do as the next man.The trouble with the first few games of this season is not been a lack of investment but a lack of playing/knowing his best team. How much have Kilmarnock,Hamilton,Motherwell and Dundee spent on players. There is still an element who think that if things are not going great then the solution is spend and blame whoever if the money is not there. There are no guarantees in this game as we should all know regardless of what you spend.
  20. Your entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine.If you don't like mine that's up to you but to say DK was appointed to the board by all his pals really.Do you think his pals will still be his pals if they see their investment going down the drain pronto.Every shareholder has a vote and I am pretty sure every shareholder is not one of DKs pals.If his pals think/thought that he wasn't the man for the job they wouldn't have welcomed him back pal or not.If his pals think he is making a rip roaring cunt of things I am pretty sure they will let DK know in no uncertain terms don't you.
  21. At last someone with some kind of money raising ideas unlike the many threads on here and posters whos only input consists of fucking off the board and asking where the money is.
  22. Easy theres a big long line of these guys just falling over themselves to pump their hard earned into Rangers and the utopia that is Scottish football surely you know that.
  23. Of course and not only must they be willing to throw their hard earned into a bottomless pit that some would have them doing, they must also pass the " supporters if they are good enough to be on the board test " I can see a long line of such fellows lining up outside Ibrox right now.A reality check is required by many on here.
  24. So you know for a fact that the scum will win the league for the foreseeable future do you.You know for a fact that they are going to get 30 million and give it all to the manager to buy and pay players do you.Do tell me what the lottery numbers will be next week as you know so much. Why did this multi million pound scum fail to beat a lowly Rangers team last season.going by spend v win how come they didn't win a treble every year as they were outspending everyone else by what 10 to 1.As I said this is the reality of where we are get used to it.It is going to take patience and hard work and if you don't have to stomach for it then that's your problem.Yet to see you come up with any sound plan apart from fuck DK and the board off.Sound plan that is and replace them with who.Do tell us who you and the rest of the anti DK board posters on here will replace them with.I don't exactly see a long que of multi millionaires queing to throw their money into Rangers do you or perhaps with your future vision you know better than the rest of us.
  25. The same shareholders who voted DK onto the board can also IF they have enough voting power and IF they think he is not doing a good job of running the finances of the club vote him off.Thats two big IFs that the shareholders will have to decide. It does not solve the problem of incomings v outgoings whether DK or any other board member are there or not.Once again I say we do not have some Rangers mad billionaire wanting to throw his millions into Rangers as some wish and the sooner some get this into their heads the better. It is going to take a lot of very hard work by all involved and a great deal of long term patience by all involved including the fans.If this is not for you then perhaps you should think of something else to do with your time on a Saturday afternoon as no doubt will be the case for some IF the club don't win the league at the first time back.
