I would hardly say Barton was an over the hill coffin dodger,plenty on here thought he was a great signing,others weren't so sure but to say he is over the hill, and Kranjcar was only 31 when we bought him.Younger than Souness was when they signed him and don't remember anyone saying he was over the hill,or Wilkins for that matter. Not worked out which happens and has happened with other players at Rangers in the past and no doubt will happen again.

Not good news but tbh I think him and Barton slowed us down.No doubts about his ability but always doubtful about his fitness and time to get fit and interest in actually being at the club. As far as his salary goes I'm pretty sure the club will have some kind of insurance policy to cover every players salaries under these cicumstances.

Agree with most points you have made but him and McKay have given us very little down the left and both should be dropped not for a couple of games but until their replacements have as many poor games as these two.Plenty people on here talking about Holt,Halliday,Kiernan,Tav etc having to up their game but our captain and I use that term loosely has to up his game as well.How many times do you see him up at the ref questioning decisions,never.A decent player that's all but for me never a Rangers captain.Only my opinion but it's being noticed more and more as he as well finds out he is not up against joiners and plumbers anymore.

Well he maybe changed the players but he brought on the same pish off the bench which made no difference yet again. Since the SC semi against the scum far to many times we have had players not turning up on the day.Not just the usual suspects but every player has been guilty of it.You can carry one maybe two but there has been 4/5 not turning up in just about every game. I have backed MW from the start but its time he started using the options available or as you say it will be his undoing.

The trouble with the two of them getting it together is that MOH isn't being given enough game time to build up an understanding with Tav. Unlike the other side of the park where its been pretty poor all season but they get game time after game time.MOH and others need game time and not 20 mins here and there but a proper run in the team for a few games. We have seen what Wallace,McKay are doing down the left and it aint much and up front well Miller and Waghorn have not exactly been rattling in the goals.He has options its time some were dropped and the options given a good run in the team to see what they can offer and not the usual 20/30 minutes pish.

How many times when Fod kicked the ball long last night did it actually get to one of our players at a guess I would say not once yet plenty screaming for him to do just that.

Tactics or not to many players on to many occasions are not performing. The manager has to recognise this and utilise the players he has at his disposal.Sticking with the same old same old isn't working.There's not been one game since we beat the scum in SC semi that the whole team have performed.The final against Hibs fuck 9/10 never turned up.You can carry one maybe two not at their best but practically every game we have 3/4/5 not turning up.It's down to MW and DW to spot this and make the changes,no fucking sentiment heads have to roll and not just for 45 minutes on the bench.

Puzzled to say the least, that a guy who has played on the left wing all season ( all be it been pretty shit ) should not play there last night instead of Miller. Why oh why would you look at the bench and think Miller was the guy to come on and play left side. Baffling.

This exactly.We have seen what Miller and Mckay have offered all season and it aint much.Time some other guys were afforded the same amount of game time to be judged upon not just 20/30 minutes here and there.

We are obviously not scoring enough goals or for that matter creating enough decent chances.The McKay/Miller/one other formation is not working as everyone can see.Both Miller and McKay need dropped and other players given a good run of games to show what they can do.Not 20 or 30 minutes but 5 or 6 games as our front line is poor to say the least.How Mckay especially turns out every week is baffling especially when we have cover for his position.the fact that we finished the game yesterday with a totally different front three from what we started with says it all.

Got an email last Saturday telling me I had been successful in the re ballot as they had been given more tickets.Picked it up today £30 South Stand plus £1 fee for admin I take it.

The reality is that we don't have any Rangers supporting billionaire with more money than sense who is willing to pump his hard earned into the club and ultimately the far from attractive back water which is Scottish football.The sooner a certain element amongst the Rangers support realise this the better.The days of Walter and Dick spending tens of millions are gone and some need to get it into their heads there is no quick fix.It is going to take patience and a lot of very hard work by all involved and the support have to realise this.

Was I ticket office yesterday enquiring about lack of ticket for semi final and got told by girl at counter that the club got 16500 tickets to be distributed to ST holders.The number of ST holders who qualified for semi final ballot was 18,000.This was the number given who had been to the 4 games and who were on cccs.The girl reckoned there were 20k ST holders on cccs but 18,500 who qualified for ballot.These figures were repeated on email I received from Andrew Smith at TO.Was pointed out by girl in TO that even if you had been unsuccessful for semi there was no guarantee you would get one for final if it went to a ballot again.In other words you are all in the hat again regardless of what you did or did not get for semi.

From where we sit in the main stand it did look as if he cracked the elbow into the striker in first half.Think most of the stadium thought he was a gonner but nothing.Then got booked later for less of a challenge.Usual refereeing pish.

I don't think Halliday deserves plaudits but he also doesn't deserve to be singled out as the only bad apple. If we are all honest I don't think any of them deserve plaudits for the performances so far but why single out Halliday when there hasn't really been anyone worthy of any plaudits.I think that is the point.

Why would you pick out Halliday.Our captain has been far from outstanding in fact down right poor at times.McKay hasn't exactly been tearing up defences either but you pick Halliday.Not many have been at the races so far not just Halliday but for some he is the usual scapegoat for some.Yesterday I would have put him down for mom as would most round about me but you single him out.Your argument about Barton and Kranjcar could be turned round about your attitude towards Halliday.As I said not many have had pass marks recently and give credit to players where it's due as you ask the same for Barton and Kranjcar.

No doubts about his ability but his fitness is well below par and I doubt if it ever will be 100%. In our 4 3 3 you need your 3 midfielders and forwards pressing forward and chasing every ball and that is not in Niko 's locker.
