Some of the putting so far has been poor. Plenty of opportunities to put the pressure on Scheffler but they aren't taking them.

Right now, Butland, Sterling and Cantwell (at a push) are the only 3 worth keeping. Butland will be off in the summer though and Sterling won't be far behind him.

That's the unfortunate reality of it. Huge rebuild required (again). 4-5 mill of next seasons budget has already gone on Diamonde and it looks like we will be shopping in the bargain basement and loan market again in the summer. This new scouting chief has his work cut out for him.

Credit to him for getting them into contention but his team selections for the last couple of games have been suspect, so not entirely blameless. Hopefully he now sees the mentality of the players when the real pressure is on and moves them on.
