  1. If you gave McInnes say 5-million to spend, I think he'd do a good job tbh. I don't get the distain for him on here from some.
  2. McLeish or Smith hadn't had a job like this ever either and they did ok.
  3. 1- I'm not acting like a wee girl. I am debating, you are the one calling people fenians from the offset. 2- New age morons, more insults - is that all you can muster up when someone responds to you? If I was a new age moron who wanted success right away or nothing I'd have chucked it shortly after Walter Smith left. 3- I never slated the taigs for their manager policy in the 90's - they done the right thing getting rid of shite managers until they found a competent one. I don't see why anyone would have an issue with that if they want success at their club. 4- Daft wee girls - more insults that's 3 or 4 of them rapid instead of actually debating my points which are perfectly valid. 5- I refuse to support someone who is absolutely useless as it makes a fool of me and our club. I support change and I support getting the right manager in. I make no apologies for refusing to get behind someone who is useless to the detrement of our club. 6- Pubescent teenagers crrying and can't handle things - more insults and still not debating my points. I've met people like you before ... you never see the bigger picture and can't see beyond misguided loyalty and think that trumps everything at our club and what being a Ranger is about - even above success which is kinda ironic you are calling people fenians, because the people who care least about our success are indeed fenians. Are you sure you aren't one yourself trolling the Rangers forums in support of Pedro? that's something they do. Since we are being offensive and making accusations.
  4. In what way? that they don't want a shite manager in charge of their team and success and results matter to them? I'd say that's the opposite of a fenian. and since you brought it up, they chopped and changed managers until they got one that won them a major trophy after a long period and then got the team running us close towards the end of 9 in a row. Surely that's justification to get a new guy in?
  5. I think you might be surprised tbh. Yes funding would be an issue given the levels of ambition this board operate at but initially I think you'd get a good calibre interested.
  6. Some idiot said to me about a year ago when he was loosely linked to the Rangers job he was Castlemilk obviously not tho
  7. Again this is another thing that get's on my tits (that we've seen with other failed managers here) we downplay the size and draw of our club just to justify keeping a piss-poor manager in a job. It's offensive.
  8. It's not about a player turnaround or a transfer window ... we haven't won 3 games in a row against utter SPFL dross - we have better players than the crap we've played against so far with the exception of celtic. It's a piss-poor excuse.
  9. and we can't keep piss-poor ones in a job that they can't handle/too big for them/no good at. There's no catch-22 at all. It's just not ideal that we face another managerial turnaround - blame the board for that one. There's no justification for keeping a ridiculously poor manager in a job because the alternative doesn't look great that's it's a bit of a cycle. Nowhere near a good enough reason to keep the wrong man in charge of our team.
  10. and therein lies the problem we have as a club right now - our desire for success is gone with far too many supporters and things like stability and loyalty seems to be placed above all else. Seen it with McCoist too - people thought because he held the club together during admin the results didn't matter - this is kinda similar. It's ridiculous that a piss-poor manager can keep sinking us to new depths but there's no desire for change in some ranks.
  11. I agree with that, but I just can't bring myself to support and get behind/respect someone who's hopeless, no good and shouldn't be here - even though I know what you are saying is 110% correct regarding the board who won't act. It's a shite, fucked up position to be in. No good.
  12. The like is for everything in that apart from the last bit. Not that I'm saying don't support him, that's admirable anyone who does I just don't agree it adds to the problem or makes things worse - in fact, the opposite, pressure could bring about change. Maybe.
  13. I think he'll set up to win which will be the totally right thing to do.
  14. Why? it doesn't make the criticisms thus far less invalid. It will shut some folk up (myself included) as there's then some evidence there that we could possibly be turning the corner.
  15. McInnes is at least proven at the top flight level in Scotland. That's an instant improvement on Pedro. Ideally I'd like so much better than him, but he's decent for what we need right now to get back on track IMO.
  16. Or people that prefer to blame ref's than give an honest assessment of Pedro. It's amazing the protection he get's from some fans who are intelligent enough to know better.
  17. A draw at Parkhead is different for me. I think that's a good result at any time nevermind where we are at just now. Ross County, St Johnstone etc can get draws against them at home - that's a good result for them, not us IMO. At Ibrox we need to be winning.
  18. You've majorly misunderstood what I meant with the bit in bold. I'm saying that Pedro's at the point now where he needs a win to get the faith and support back IMO. A draw won't do that - or shouldn't do that. I wouldn't celebrate a draw at Ibrox against them. At the risk of sounding slightly contradictory, I'd perhaps take a draw right now if you offered me it but I wouldn't see it as progress, a massive result or worth celebrating.
  19. There's fuck-all solution to the the board if they go, that's the real tragic part. Like the last lot of clowns we had before this lot the only way would be to buy them out, or buy enough shares to vote them out and put up possible credible candidates for replacing them. That's the problem we have - they are untouchable and they don't give a fuck. No-one has said they have the answers to that problem, but you can't deny the problem exists can you? Regarding Pedro I see plenty of people offering up solutions. McInnes is a name always mentioned and one I agree with myself. Outwith that, how can your average fan know who's available and/or interested in the job? that's what we've got executives, administrators and directors for. Give any of us their resources, contact list, wages etc and I bet in a few days we'd have a good list for you. It's not trigger happy either. He's had 6-months and all he does is sink us to new depths. How long do you personally want to give it? and when that time has expired, are you going to come on here and say to everyone else sorry for calling other people tragic, trigger-happy etc as they were right?
  20. It's easy to blame funding but we've outspent the rest of the league by some distance yet can't win 3 on the bounce against them
  21. Ray Houghton and Dougie Freedman are Castlemilk and I think maybe John Wark too
  22. You talk about money but we've substantially outspent everyone else in the league other than celtic so we should be cleaning up against them but as I said 50% win ratio, never 3 wins in a row etc against these very same teams. It doesn't look good on Pedro no matter how you spin it. I know as much as the next guy how unambitious our board are and I honestly wonder if we will be successful every again with these guys in charge but like last season the board got Warburton off the hook and Warburton got the board off the hook in the blame game - it's a cunt of a situation and we are now in it again. There's blame on both parts - but we need to apportion it fairly.
  23. If we're back to blaming referee's again, we'd never have got our equaliser against Thistle as it was a clear throw to Thistle and the ball went to Dorrans from the shy within seconds.
  24. He needs a proper chance. Him and Morelos have never had a run of games upfront. Too early to write Herrera off - I think he would surprise a few for the better if he could get a run of games with a settled partner upfront. Pedro isn't doing himself any favours not trying it that way IMO.
