Took Tim Booth from the band James to The V Festival one year and his manager gave me and another driver back stage passes and meal vouchers for The artists Marquee whilst we were there, Went to the marquee for a bite to eat with another driver and whilst we were eating the other driver kicked my leg from under the table and said” look who’s just sat down next to you” Looked round and Natalie Imbruglia had just sat down next to me with a glass of wine, That any good 😂

Yesterday morning at work I was stood talking to one of my fellow bluenose mates and as we were talking one of our most rabid workmates looked over, I asked him if he was going to the protest next Sunday, I actually thought he would say no as he must be about 60 ffs but he actually said aye and you could feel his pain as he said it, My mate and myself just looked at each other and burst out laughing and said fucking hell, No even kicked a ball yet and yous are fucking protesting, They’re definitely No Happy 😂

I used to do a wee bit of chauffeur driving down in England mate, Company I worked for had the contract for the British soap awards in Manchester, Had to pick him up the following day and drop him off in London along with a few others, He sat up front with me and picked up on my Scottish accent and told me about his love for whisky and how he’d come 3rd in a whisky tasting competition, Asked me to pull into services along the way and bought everyone including myself a McDonald’s, Just came across as a really nice guy imo, Definitely not a Billy big boots.

I actually met that man(Ian Smith) and he’s a gentleman, Loves his whisky and enters whisky tasting competitions.
