The most comfortable we've been under Beale so far. 1-0 but we could have had another couple in the second with no real worries at the back. We know where we are just now but to keep winning at this time of year will build a good spirit in the team.

I'm probably more down on Beale because of things that have happened over the last year that are completely nothing to do with him. When Gerrard left last year I would have happily had Beale just take over. However, now, the squad is weaker and our biggest assets have been allowed to run the contracts down that they are now worthless. Despite the make up of the squad Beale is clearly well liked and respected and might just be able to get one last tune out of the likes of Kent, Morelos and Kamara. Combine that personal effect with some semblance of fitness and pressing then we'll be off on the right foot.

As much as I love Walter his highest points tally in our 3iar wouldn't have won four of the last 6 titles and I suspect this season's title. We've moved on from 2011.

I don't think it's necesarily being "mini peps" but there is a clear method of how to win the league up here since rodgers joined celtic. High pressing, athletic and attacking football. The two examples where it went tits up. The first was lennon's second season at celtic where they dropped that approach and we certainly took it on under Gerrard. The second was our drop off from last season until now when we stopped pressing last season and our fitness fell away this season.

He is boxed in as a low block hoof the ball manager which isnt always the case. At times, against decent sides to, he has been willing to press and has a fit team which we do lack right now. 100% agree on the concern breaking sides down though. Despite winning the championship there is a lack of evidence to say he can get a team to do that on a regular basis. Which is why I'd rather a Rebrov, Knutsen or a Pedro Martins before he took a job in the middle east.
