  1. I'm not Borna's biggest fan, he was always a little too negative for my liking, but on occasion he has a brilliant cross on him. It's just a shame he didn't keep pushing further up the pitch. Good luck to him, but also glad he won't be with us next season. Time for both parties to move forward.
  2. Was that outside a chippy or something? 🤣 vaguely remember that story.
  3. I get your point reg physicality. Roofe and in particular Defoe had a less physical build but they could both take a challenge, Lammers doesn't appear to relish the physical side.
  4. Think they've pushed him up as a CF from what i've read. He's too lightweight to play that role for us, but seems to be thriving across there.
  5. We've reverted back to starting games off too slowly again, whereas they go for an early goal and disrupt the opposition plans. Gives them momentum, and they struggle a fair bit more when they don't go ahead early doors. They also know to press us early and we'll likely make an unforced error.
  6. We got ourselves into this position with some awful results, but all we can do is keep winning games and put the pressure back on them again.
  7. Good on him. He's obviously found a level and a team that he's comfortable with. Hopefully they or another team in the league buy him in the summer. He just isn't what we need and we get as close to our money back as possible.
  8. I quite like McCausland, but i'm sure a few of the guys on here who watch the youths play said they were surprised he had been chosen to make the step up to the first team as there are better players in the youth setup. It's maybe just catching up to him now. Been a whirlwind season for him.
  9. He's an anomaly of sorts. He's scored 20 goals but you look at his style of play, and apart from an occasional good turn, there doesn't appear to be much there. Although, his positional sense must be good, as he gets himself into the right positions to mess up so many chances!
  10. Recently we've had a "let's just get to the end of the season" vibe about us. We need changes all over the pitch, and to be honest Clement will have worked miracles if he wins us two cups and runs the league close with this squad.
  11. He's a good player when he fancies it. As you're saying there, he isn't consistent enough for a team that wants to win things.
  12. The support has been there through thick and thin with the squad and the club. The players should be able to refocus their energies on actually winning a game we are more than capable of winning. Use the energy around them in a way that drives us on, not retreat into a shell. The players have though, taken the easy way out and shat the bed, not the fans.
  13. We 100% need to be more dynamic in midfield. It's why Sterling sticks out so much when he plays there. I think him, Diamonde and at least one other in the more dynamic vein would be much better than having Lundstram in there.
  14. Exactly. I find a lot of the games at the top end of the Premiership to be dull and sterile in terms of atmosphere and passion.
  15. They should move the FA cup final to the later time. It's the lesser game after all
  16. If Everton keep this scoreline up, he can call me all he wants 🤣
  17. Just seen their score. Surely Ten Haag has to be gone if they get beat there
  18. My English team are probably the least entertaining 🤣
  19. I probably need to watch more of the interview to get the context of the conversation, but as the vice captain of the club he should be setting these standards, talking to these kids if their heads are down. He's a role model for these young players and it shouldnt just be a case of "i've tried and they don't listen".
  20. And its shite mate. Aye, nothing wrong with saying he's shite but bastardising the guys name is something the opposition would do. You're better than that.
  21. Is that you, Eck? 🤣👍
