Could his entry visa (I think he needs one but not sure) and work permit be cancelled and then, if he can't get back into this country he could be sacked with no compo due? Save us a fortune...better us pissing it up against a wall than him getting to piss it up against a wall and us paying him for the pleasure doing it :/

Nah mate, looks like we're stuck with him. Total joke of joke of a signing. Just waiting for the plethora of posts saying "there's a player in there" now. Ffs.

  2. Tbf, I think we all knew exactly what we were getting when we signed him in the summer - a 'work in progress' player. If we get offered a decent fee for him in the transfer window, then then we should take definitely take it and reinvest it back into the team. We could still end up getting a good return from him in the end.

Misses to many chances and my granny could header better 9.5 mil we turned down makes sick thinking about it, he's absolutely fucking garbage

Nah, completely disagree. He just completely fluffs his lines in the really big games that matter - the games with real pressure. If he really wants a Premier league club to come in for him in the summer, then he's got to score against the scum in the two games we've still to play them. Scoring against teams like kilmarnock and mothererwell will only attract Championship clubs from down south, at best.

  4. Yip. Nothing new here: Dembellend scores his chance yet Morelos misses his. Windass resorts back to type after his goal. Cardoso is simply awful. Rodgers makes changes from the side lines to win the game with ten men, whilst Murty stands idle. Same old same old.

Murty was a caretaker manager from the youths with a mixed record, he deserved our thanks for his efforts and to go back to his original job and maybe even join the first team staff but he shouldn't have got it permanently, incredibly lazy option chosen from the board

Good post. Love or loathe Murty, this is the bit I can't get my head round: Was he indeed the 'lazy option' as you put it, or the 'cheap option' (like McCoist) ...or was he only appointed because the board were trying to save face and didn't want 'knocked back' again by another managerial target they went for?

  6. Agree with the comments - definitely one of the better signings this season. He's still a bit raw, but will be some player when he hits his peak. And I think he would have scored even more so far if we had a better option than Herrera beside him. Got a feeling lots of clubs from down south will be sniffing around looking to buy him in the summer...hope we get one more season out of him at the very least.

Actually fucking mental how many of Warburton's signings are still on our books..

This. Players like Forrester are 'ten--a-penny' in the lower leagues of England, and he would have bitten our hands off for a two year deal. He done a decent job for us in the Championship (his true level), but the decision to offer him a long contract was truly bizarre to say the least.

When a guy misses umpteen golden chances to win an OF match

And most of the other players have blinders . Then he surely takes some criticism mate

We never won today because of him .

This. Morelos put in a tremendous shift today, but his link-up play was very poor, and I never felt confident at all that he was going to score. If he really wants to play at the very top level in England, then he's going to have to 'up' his game in the big games that count, and not just score against the so-called 'diddy' teams in the league. Overall, he has turned out to be a good signing for us though...

  9. He's been one of the better signings we've made the last few seasons - well worth the money. Aye, he's played some shockers this season, but I would rather have him in our team running down the right wing than MOH any day.

  10. Said a couple of days ago that he should not start today as he will be blowing out of his arse after only 15 mins. I actually felt sorry for his team mates today who had to do a lot more running in the middle of the park just to cover for the guy. Lets hope we can reach an agreement to release him and use his wages elsewhere. If he stays, then use him as an impact sub for the last 15 - 20 mins only.

Last night was an embarrassment....no cohesion, no plan and a number of players who are over the hill, don't care or simply not good enough...all thrown into a tactical shambles. ...

Herrera on the park for 90 mins...when he made the effort to jump for the ball he missed...so if Murty is so astute why wasn't he subbed...???

I stuck up for Herrera at the start of the season, but not now. I hope we shift him on in January as he's been below par for too many games. I would rather we had kept Joe Garner to be honest, than sign this guy. I wasn't a big fan of Garner, but I think he would have offered a lot more up front with Morelos than Herrera does. Another baffling signing by Pedro.

I Thought he tried really hard tonight.

He was still off the pace, but actually better than I expected.

Perhaps he just needs game time.

He won't, of course, be the player he once was but getting more games might see him become useful to the team as he gets as match fit as he is now capable of becoming.

Nah, he's an impact player all day long and only capable of bringing something to the game the last 10 -15 mins or so. There's no way he should start against the scum at the weekend, as he will be blowing out of his backside after only 20 mins and we would be effectively one man down. Dreadful signing.

Bunch of fucking children arguing about who the worst player was ffs. Pathetic as the team.

Yip, it was a much of a muchness yesterday of who gets the "worst player" title. Fucking dreadful display.

Why when we haven’t scored in the first 25 mins do we start getting nervous and jittery, we were well on top in this game, could have scored 3 or 4 playing ok, just needing a little bit composure and better decision making and we’ll score.

Then a stupid mistake and were 1 down, now were even more nervous desperate decisions been made and players heads going fucking down.

Tbh these players aren’t much better quality than the other spl teams.

Yip, and therein lies our problem. With the exception of a few players in our squad, we are no better than the other teams in the league (outwith the scum). The league table says it all. The only difference is we are paying much higher wages than the rest, so will find it difficult to shift them on!

  15. Agree 100% with the OP on this. For me, Pedro was a 'dead man walking' since the farce against Progres away - a team I had never even heard of before, and where he got completely out-foxed and out-played by a more savvy manager. We've now got some good players in the squad, and with the right man at the helm and some good transfer dealings in January, I'm sure we can go on a good run, and secure second spot no problem.

Nobody is fucking making excuses. This is a thread to talk about how bad the ref was. Hate when cunts come in and can’t even see the post has fuck all to do with our performance .

Aye I've referred to the ref in my post, and if I want to mention our performance too, then that's my decision whether you like it or not.
