Midfield is to lightweight. That would be okay if they could use there technique to get themselves out of trouble and create things. They're technically okay but that's all. We need to beefen the DM role. Halliday is never a DM in his life. He's probably better suited at being a left back. The rumour that boy Poyet signing could answer that position. Comes with a decent reputation and is still going and looks like he has a bit of physique about him.

Took his eye off the ball, literally and figuratively speaking. There is a player there but I'm unsure about his mentality. Its important for a player who plays for a club like ours to have the winning, no surrender mentality. We'd usually have that passed down from previous squads to the newer players we was implementing into the squad. But with us having to climb out of the gutter and virtually have to start again with players who we overpaid for and was bang average, arguably below average and try and implement the mentality that has won our great club so many trophies. Its proving to be difficult. Hence why the players are not mentally tough enough.

@K.A.I I was not picking an argument with you in my initial reply to you. I agree we wasn't terrible but still unacceptable. Regarding the Hearts game, i just think the players where scared. Its just an observation but the players seems to get frightened when there is a hostile atmosphere. Tynecastle was one of them. I even think when our own fans get on the players back they shite themselves and try and play it to safe. I don't think that's down to Warburton. He signed the players which i can't argue with. But what players of decent quality would have came while we was in the championship? It wasn't an easy task, considering also our financial situation. So i blame the players, mostly for the unacceptable below par pish. Warburton can only do so much. On their day the players can play well, we've seen it. So the manager must be training them right if they're able to do it. It's just making them consistent, which by the way costs money in a player. Not just the players physical and technical attributes. We need the mental attributes, especially playing for a high demanding club and support of Rangers stature.

Drop them for who exactly? Youth? The team played poorly because the players probably have their minds on the Smelltic game. How can you blame the manager for that shite? Apart from him signing them of course but that's a different debate altogether.

Why the long face?

No Rangers fan should go into any match with them with any fear whatsoever. What will be will be. But we should near fear those bastards. Having said that, the match will be won in the midfield. Our midfield has to turn up and fight these cunts. I've watched their tactics against us in the previous games. They like to play with a man behind the striker. Which is where they pick up the second balls because when they try and hit it into our box, our defenders header it one way and that is usually centrally where there player is waiting for it. There other midfield players press up on the wings to try and suffocate us in our own half, forcing our defenders to head it in the middle. It wouldn't surprise me if we played it long for big spells of the game. Garner is a shoe in to start, that is for sure with the way we need to play against them.
