Arfield I can give or take, no real issues with him starting Diallo starting & Lowry on the bench doesn't make much sense, especially given he ran the show last weekend

If it was Kent/Tav who had missed, players here next season basically then aye I'd be starting them today regardless as leaving them all summer to stew on it wouldn't help them for next season. The end part I can see the argument for, if he's fit and others are struggling then by all means he starts, just because he's a fresh body but I'd rather have Davis, Lowry, McCann all in midfield before him today We watched him at Hampden last month and the 40 minutes we seen, he struggled like fuck

For me the only way he starts today is if we're 100% confident he's fit & sure he's signing in the summer on a good deal (for us) due to his injury record. Otherwise, he's a loan player who's contributed very little & the fact he might need a lift will have nothing to do with us if he flies back to Italy tomorrow morning.

We haven't learned what the tarriers seem to have this season...all big clubs these days are agreeing loan deals with optional clauses at the end to buy the players The players themselves know they're playing for a new contract at a new club, something a player on loan is likely to want & it spurs them on + the team themselves has cover if the loan doesn't work out given its optional Our 2 loans this season, Diallo/Ramsey, both look like they've took it as a mini holiday & they know they're going back to their parent clubs with the same contracts waiting for them.

Best pub to watch this around about Hampden? Only got 1 ticket due to a My Gers shambles so I'll be sitting this one out!

That's the biggest decesion for me and I think starting Ramsey over Wright is a mistake If Ramsey starts, he's likely out wide right with Aribo as the false 9, everybody is saying Kostic is their biggest threat on the left side so we'll need Wright's legs more than anything else. Ramsey to come on if we're struggling 2nd half or if we need to calm things down
