  1. UB's are the only ones who deserve any sort of credit from today Up against a piss poor Aberdeen side, we should've been looking to put 3/4 past them and bring some confidence back Instead there's still massive questions around Gio and the squad going into next weekend (forget Belgrade, the players themselves will turn up for that) & the fans today were as close to turning on Gio as I've seen since the Warburton days That Roofe goal may have saved his job, especially after the shit this week
  2. Horrific performance, terrible attitude from the players and some crazy decisions from Gio Fluked a win though so continues on to next week
  3. Don't need enemies when our own fans are moaning on twitter about what's being sung Nothing wrong with anything last night
  4. 2nd half was about 'surviving' the game according to Gio No wonder we are playing the way we are if he's installing that mentality into them
  5. Would rather we called out things that are going wrong when we're winning rather than wait until we drop points for the ball to finally drop Our performances recently have been shocking, we scrapped a win tonight and aye I'm happy with 3 points but fuck me a half decent team at least gets a draw tonight
  6. Any other team in the league gives us a game, they played like a team sitting towards the bottom of the table and struggling for form Tonight should've been a 3-0 confidence booster before the sheep on Saturday, instead we left with more questions than answers Some really confusing decisions/perfomances & the manager seems completely lost.
  7. All it would've took was a lucky bounce like Motherwell/Ross County If you're happy with tonight then hell mend ye, that was fucking shocking & Gio's inability to even give us a lift with a change or 2 sums up how clueless he is at the moment
  8. Absolutely zero faith in him, tonight hammered that home No subs in 90 minutes, no identity, team basically just going through the motions Could've easily drawn/lost that tonight, luckily St Johnstone were worse than us, nothing to do with our tactics/team
  9. Shocking performance again tonight, Gio absolutely clueless Players going through the motions, lucky we were up against a piss poor team
  10. The board have slowly but surely been making an arse of things over the last few months, baffling decisions that show they are completely out of touch with the fanbase, this tops it. They must've known there would be a backlash & to release it today after all the shit with them yesterday is disrespectful and a fucking joke. Feeling right now is I think they'll backtrack, there is 8 months to go before the fixture & if any protests come they'll change their mind. Also if the tarriers win the league I can't see any world where we go to Australia for essentially an Ange title party. Surprising thing is I didn't think GVB, when we hired him, would be a mouthpiece for the board, his 'comments' (if they are really his) are poor from a guy who we all thought understood the club.
  11. Always knew his aim was Wales, course it was but thought he mightve wanted some game time beforehand Now it just looks like we are a convenient training ground for him in the UK & it suited him getting out of Juve. If he gets a few minutes (Annan for example) then he's more than happy
  12. Ramsey thing is beyond a joke now, complete and utter waste of time, be aswell just cutting our losses and giving Lowry the game time
  13. Shit like this is the reason the English game is as bad as it is (fan wise). They don't have 'rivalries' anymore, the games are tame at best They dilute the fixture & basically sell it abroad for money to drum up some interest and money, tarrier board will be happy it's down under for Ange & we'll likely be happy as it's money in the bank. Short term thinking for no longer term benefits
  14. Personally I think we'd be in a better place with replacements in for Balogun, Helander & Roofe...Jack seems to still have more to offer but the rest have had enough chances to get fit and can't do it The issue is you're not going to sell those 3 and break even (sure we spent nearly 6/7 million on Helander & Roofe), we'd be taking a loss on them & that leaves us less to spend on replacements
  15. Realistically I think we're looking at a minimum of 7/8 first team players gone in the summer, guesses would be Mcgregor, Barisic, Goldson, Davis, Kamara, Aribo, Kent & Morelos The last 4 are the only ones in the squad worth decent money currently & all could get decent moves, they're not hanging on here for their current salary or for another shot at the Europa The rest we'll be lucky to get back what we spent on them or they're worth more to us than someone else
  16. Players got the blame yesterday, crowd turned very quickly on them about 75/80 minutes & rightly so however at any club the buck stops with the manager, especially if he's inherited a team which won the league at a canter last year. If they win the league this season we'll have a massive clear out of coaches, management, players & I suspect Ross Wilson
  17. Stuff like that is just an excuse & a pretty lousy one at that Could our recruitment have been much better, course it could/should be. The most recent signings of Diallo/Ramsey are turning out to be as bad as anything we've signed in recent times, a complete waste of time and effort. End of the day though, we have more than enough in our squad to be hammering every team in this league apart from the tarriers, the fact we aren't has to be put onto the management team
  18. Being honest my confidence went at the tarrier game, could accept the Aberdeen result just after the break & even the County game, alarming but fair enough The result against them, the way he set us up especially should've been a massive red flag. He deserves praise for Dortmund of course & I think he's had it & more. End of the day he'll be measured on the league & it might only be 3 points but we're in such a bad run of form you don't see us winning it unless their form follows ours and takes a dive St Johnstone away & Aberdeen at home before a 2 week break in league fixtures. If we don't win both of them he's in serious danger of going I think
  19. The fact its GVB and the Dortmund results are the reason he's getting a free ride Any other manager would be going into Wednesday night knowing a bad result would mean the end of them, simple as that.
  20. Aye that's fair enough mate, what a forum is for, opinions 👍
  21. We are playing badly though, we're not scoring enough & are conceding stupid goals, as you put it, all the time 1 or even 2 bad results in quick succession is the way it goes sometimes 5 means something is seriously wrong
  22. His interview today shows a manager who has no clue what's going wrong or how to fix it Jobs far too big for him
  23. Didn't have faith in Gerrard winning the league last season, had complete faith he'd win it this & also had faith Gio would win it when he came in The difference between us now and us then is crazy, especially since the break as the results show
  24. Hands up nope I didn't but because he did not sure what that proves? They said last season was an abnormally & tbh as it stands its true. The fact they're ahead of us with that squad put together in the summer & with an Aussie manager who has never managed in Europe is embarrassing If he/they win the league whoever is our manager deserves the sack, our current form of 3 wins from 8 would have any Rangers manager on the brink. If our current form continues Gio won't be here for the next Old Firm in April.
