  1. Aye at 1 point it's certainly not over mathematically Difference is they have a manager who had quickly realised the league is shite and you can batter 99% of it if you just attack. He's also been backed in the market which helps We'll setup today defensively, try to pick off Hearts and the crowd will turn on the players if we're not leading by 20/25 minutes
  2. I've no issue with people who can keep the faith, can believe we'll still turn it around etc, that's fine if you believe that You need to accept though that on current form, they're going to end up running away with this league, before we play today we've had a 10 point swing in 5 games...that's fucking crazy
  3. Teams 'fold' against them because they attack, they move the ball quickly and as much as their wide open, teams in this league don't press them (us included) They'll win the vast majority, if not all of their remaining games on current form, they have the confidence, the players and the tactics spot on We can hold on as much as possible hoping for a miracle but that's all it is now
  4. Naaa you're being defeatist mate, bury your head in the sand and support the bottlers WATP
  5. The fact people can't admit that on here without calling you a defeatist cunt show how much they bury their head in the sand 17th of January we were 6 clear 6th of February we were 4 behind Fucking crazy
  6. If he doesn't start then serious questions need asking Is it a case of Gio playing safe with him or is he really so unfit he can't manage 50/60 minutes at home
  7. We've won 1 of the last 4 Conceeded 7 goals, scored 5 Had a 7 point swing in just over 2 weeks. Sorry for not thinking this group of players have the bottle for a title fight
  8. Sadly I'm already en route to it so will need to watch it lol Get what you mean but anything that's said on here won't exactly hurt the players! Would love to be buzzing for this but the last few weeks have absolutely scunnered us Hopefully see a reaction today
  9. 0 desire to go and watch this today, expecting the same shite as before & basically down to whether Hearts fancy it or not If they do, it'll be a score draw
  10. Aye Pedro went too far down the rabbit hole to be fair with it all (and was a shite manager to boot) Today Gio should've been out holding his hands up saying we got it wrong, apologise for the result/s and show that he understood where we've been going wrong & we'll be changing it That's more the point I wanted to see
  11. Show he actually gets it? Seen the Pedro comment & I'm not expecting him outside arguing with fans either btw, there's a difference He basically came in today and said we'll be playing the same way as Wednesday going forward & that apart from the 1st 20 minutes where they 'surprised us' we done alright, even played well 2nd half
  12. Difference is the vast majority of them haven't just been scudded 3-0 off their rivals & had a 7 point swing in the last 4 games... Wasn't expecting him to come in today screaming and shouting but also wasn't expecting that emotionless pish
  13. His presser today is worrying on so many levels, aye there is anger right now & everything he says is going to be scrutinised However the way he's talking it seems like this is only going to end 1 way
  14. His interview today should send alarm bells ringing, if plan A isn't working we'll be doing plan A anyway Only decent news is it sounds like some players might be dropped
  15. Club have obviously picked him and Jack to speak since Wednesday because the rest are still hiding under their beds so fair play to him The stuff Arfield said though, it's terrifying if he actually believes it and worse if that's what's being said to them all... "We knew what to expect 1st 15/20 minutes"...clearly not as you all looked shocked and got skelped "They barely troubled us 2nd half and if we had got a goal if could've been different"...Absolute bollocks. They had their feet up and we still barely came close to creating anything like the chances they had 1st half. "Hopefully we can get Ramsey fit soon"...Basically puts to bed him being involved in any meaningful way on Sunday These conferences show a completely deluded club at the moment & if that's all being said behind closed doors we're fucked
  16. Before the break we had 2 pretty forgettable performances against a covid riddled Dundee United & then St Mirren on boxing day, we got the results though so it didn't matter but this has been coming, the break just accelerated it. Since then we've got 5 points from 12, got outplayed by Aberdeen & now smashed off the taigs. We'll see on Sunday but last night doesn't feel like a wakeup call, there's been a whole momentum shift and it's going to be very difficult to get that back unless something drastically changes.
  17. It's not the going 1 point behind, it's the way we're playing & the feeling around the club at the moment. Soon as the results went, this was always going to happen & Gio deserves it tbh. His interviews don't give off a manager who understands what's going wrong or even a manager who cares 14 games left, 2 against the taigs and I think we'll need to win at least 10 of those including at least 1 of OFs...if anybody is confident of doing that after the last few weeks I'd be shocked.
  18. Diallo was still involved with United's u23s before he came up here & he's a young boy Ramsey needs match fitness aye but by the sounds of it he needs general fitness aswell. From his interview he's basically saying we'll ramp up his game time over the next few weeks, I wouldn't expect to see him against Hearts/Hibs unless the game is done. Annan in the cup I think we'll be aiming for a good amount of minutes
  19. Good defender, arguably our best on his day But his injury record is absolutely ridiculous for a guy who should be in the prime of his career Makes the decision not to get Souttar even more laughable
  20. We were toiling under Gerrard definitely & I wasn't his biggest fan but even I'll say last night would never have happened under him We've been beat off them before and will again but that's got to be on par with the worst I've seen us play against them And the scary thing is I expect absolutely no reaction on Sunday & I don't think the vast majority of players will have been hurting last night
  21. To be fair to him he's been honest from the outset about it, he knows his own body and knows he's miles from fitness. Must've told Wilson and co the same thing but we've decided he was worth the risk.
  22. Because its far easier to bury your head in the sand while everything falls apart than it is to deal with it We either stick with GVB & hope (because that's all it is now is hope) he can turn things around Or we end it before it gets any worse. Anything less than 6 points from the next 2 games and I think he'll be gone, the fallout today has only underlined how badly he's fucked things
  23. 100% true, said we need to build him up nicely over the next few weeks & hopefully he'll get his match fitness up Basically he's going to be making sub appearances at best for a while
  24. And everything based on his time at Feyenoord (and with us so far) shows he won't do that Thats why it seems this only has 1 outcome, just didn't think it was going to capitulate as quick as it has
  25. Find out on Sunday I suppose but his own interview yesterday he clearly says it There is certainly no way he starts
