  1. As long as he’s scoring I couldn’t give a goose tbh.
  2. Said before, might have been on this thread actually, I’m blootered. He can pick a pass and a shot out very well. For a team that faces men behind the ball often, we need that threat. We should really be working on getting this lad.
  3. We should really be looking into it, teams park the bus against us too often. We need a threat from outside the box as well as someone that people will actually find space for
  4. Good performance, Murty definitely sees a player there and he’s starting to show. An air of arrogance about him that we need in the team.
  5. Does anyone know when he’s expected to be back in training?
  6. I think we’ll outplay them and I hope that when Cummings is brought on, it’s in place of Windass. Keep the pressure on them right to the death. Hopefully Morelos bags 1 early on. Hibs often open up and I think that will play right into Goss’ strengths. If the forward 3 in midfield stay sharp and keep looking for space then we’ll win it convincingly.
  7. No the dug RFC, buy another fish.
  8. I’m not trying to take credit for the phrase, it’s just a fitting comparison.
  9. Jason, Jason, Jason, Jason Cummings Sang to the tune of This Girl by Cookin’ on 3 Burners, Kung Remix.
  10. Not true, he had zero service but he chased down every ball that came into the final third, he tracked back purely for the sake of presence and when he had the ball at his feet he kept it guarded. Not long after he came on the tide of the game changed completely leaving us defending for dear life and he still made himself look like a threat.
  11. I remember seeing some criticisms about shrinking in the bigger games, which i agreed with tbf. I thought he was a catalyst in the last match against them and he showed spells of brilliance tonight. His chemistry with Tav is so promising and his weight in passing is top class. His vision for crosses has never been in question for me, it’s just our ability to answer them. A fantastic player and he’ll play well off positive momentum.
  12. I meant as in your opinion of him leaving the post.
  13. Wouldn’t have minded him for squad depth but the cynic in me sees a lad performing well as his contracts running out.
  14. What do you think of that mate? Genuine question.
  15. Aye, like i say - he’s been a Robin Hood. Just as we near the end of the window, I can only imagine he will have the final say and by the looks of it he has a good idea of the type of player we could be doing with. With that in mind - if, and it’s a big if, he could achieve a decent level of consistency against the smaller sides then ultimately i can’t see what else we’d be looking for in a manager on paper. I still need convincing on his character but even as time passes he seems to command more respect in press conferences so my mind may well change if results stay positive. At the moment though, he’s still not the long term solution.
  16. He seems to be a bit of Robin Hood in this league. But following this transfer window and the blueprint of player that has been brought in, If we maintain continuity and stop dropping liberty points - Has anyone had a change of opinion regarding a full time appointment of him? It’s a big IF, i know, and although this result did bring the question about for me, it hasn’t changed my own opinion. I think Murty knows the game, has an idea of what’s required to win a match in this league and seems to work well with his men but ultimately I still feel he is too nice to have the novelty of his current post removed and be left with the job full time. Anyone care to weigh in?
