  1. Join the dots my good man....Personality is key.
  2. Aye good yin. People told me Pena scored some crackin goals on YouTube too. That worked well. Not saying MPH is another Le Guen but calm down on the endorsements is all.
  3. We need a leader of men is my point, someone who inspires rather than plays fancy football which might work for a few months until mid winter away at one of the middens. If the leader also plays fancy fitba fine. Otherwise leave it. Take the leader. I like MPHs CV too but unless like everyone else here I know nothing about his personality. Can he carry our club?
  4. Bizarre how people mention MPH as thought they have watched his career and know anything about him. Clutching at straws. FdB ain't the answer either we all know it deep down. Gers have never been successful with a guy like that and they don't do well in Scottish football. Id love a Klinnsmann or a Gio vB but isnt not the answer (and pretty fuckin unlikely too). We need a guy who has tactical nows rather than playing fancy shite 100% of the time, who takes no shite from players, boards, media etc. The Walter way. The Jock Wallace way. Even the Advocaat, McLeish, Souness way. I'd be looking at Sean Dyche as the ideal, otherwise you are looking at guys like Hughes, Clarke, O'Neill (these last two dont sit easy but if they pump the puddle drinkers I could not give a fuck). Even Rafa Benitez if he gets binned. The only less experienced guy i know of who fits the bill is Rowett at Derby who the all seeing board knocked back for Pedro. Any other names?
  5. 4 2 away win. New year's day. Gers 2 0 up after 4 mins and 3 0 up after 30 mins. Billy McTaig to Jock Brown 'you could drive a double decker bus through that celtic defense'. Love you big attila.
  6. Next cunt that mentions billy davies gets chibbed everyone agree??
  7. For all super ally wasnt the best manager people don't seem to get that if he played more of these youth players supplmented the kind of experienced shite that would play in the 3rd division such as like kevin kyle and john daly, this wouldn't have been good enough to get us out the division. You can't just play players because they are young. Ask why 95% of these players have done nothing since they left?? So questions again should be asked of the youth set up rather than slagging off a legend unnecessarily (though I completely agree it was totally unnecessary to buy the likes of faure, cribari to back up the first team!!)
  8. Just because he's better than pish doesn t mean he's good. Would rather see mccrorie or bates.
  9. Hes a footballer for God's sake. Live in the real world. Guys probably a hibs fan but he hasn't been anything other than a pro in his time with us and runs til he drops when many others don't even have that.
  10. Sorry to all those who are saying Danny Wilson was good. I'd love him to be. Love it. But he wasn't good and isn't the answer. He is so slow on the turn and to the tackle. His non sensicle yellow today sums it up. Wish he was the answer I really do, I love bluenoses in the team. But we need far, far better. Cardoso isn't great, pretty poor infact, but he does have pace. Wilson can ping a left foot pass but otherwise ?
  11. Naw he never. Watch the games back. Eejit.
  12. Naw he didnt. Had a good season with Derby once. One good season and being a fan does not make a gers manager. He falls out with very board. Exactly the kind of instability we don't need!!!!
  13. The usual story from Pedro who talks and talks and then talks some more but aside from a fortuitous win away to Aberdeen last season where we were under the cosh for long spells has never walked the walk. He is the antithesis of Warburton, changing opinions and tactics on a minute by minute basis. The signing of alves, jack and morelos seemed positive from the outset but even a layman could see the value in them. Otherwise his signings seemed poor from the outset. Spending whatever it was, 5, 6, 7 million on 28 year old Mexicans who have never made it outside their own environment was never going to work. It's doesn t say much for the intelligence of the money men that they let this happen. I don't blame Pedro, he's just a guy trying to earn a living who, as happens in many walks of life, has pushed himself and then been handed a job one level too high for him via one storming interview. I am skunnered bears. Help me see some light.
  14. The board hoped they were stealing a march on the bigger boys by appointing the manager, as the mhankies did with Ronnie Delia. They thought they were thinking out the box when they didn't, and still don't, know what's in the box. The manager seems like a man's man but when you are presiding over the worst results in the entire club's history that doesn't matter. Hands up, I thought the options were poor when the manager was appointed but what ever the choice what we needed was stability, the will to win above all else, style without substance was yesterday's man and now all we needed was solidity. Instead the board appointed the gymuys who sounded good. The used car salesman who punts you a datsun but you think its a ferarri. Not his fault he was appointed to a post well above his ilk. It's the boards. But they are so arrogant they won't acknowledge this until it's too late and when they do they will blame pedro. Shame on them.
