UEFA: A Dublin final involving Rangers would be "challenging"
Colin Traive replied to Loyal72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Getting way ahead of ourselves imo. Big Phil says “one game at a time” and it’s working pretty well so far. New thread “Which route should the open top bus take?” due any day. Get a grip, peeps. -
Forward area has to be top priority by a mile. Sima - loan over Silva - ditto Roofe - thankfully out of contract Wright - hopefully out of contract, if not try to sell him/give him away Matondo - get whatever we can, not good enough McCausland - we all wanted him to blossom especially under Clement but he’ll never be a regular first team player Dessers - last man standing or he’d be nowhere near the team. Accept almost any offer, he’s never a Rangers centre forward That leaves only two forwards worthy of the jersey, Cortes and Danilo. Given that we’ve still to stump up for Cortes and Diomande, the chances of buying Sima and/or Silva are pretty slim. If another season loan for one or both was an option, I’d grab it. Even with CL money, we will still need to spend wisely. I’d say that we need at least three forwards, preferably one of them right sided.

Aye, they pine for their old country but the nearest most have ever been is fucking Ardrossan

Same old story with loan players. You want them to do well to help our cause but the danger is that clubs with bigger budgets snap them up. Silva is clearly enjoying it here and a season in the CL (if we win the league) isn’t going to lessen the fee that Wolves eventually get for him although £35m does seem high. The best we can hope for, realistically, is keeping him for another year on the back of 56. That would do nicely

…Danilo, Dowell, Lovelace etc etc

We agreed a deal to sign Brown just after Thomson. They were pretty inseparable and were known as The Twins because you never found one without the other. It was always an assumption that they would come as a pair and both would join the same club. Handshakes all round but his agent (Willie McKay) subsequently got a bigger offer from Sellick and reneged on the promise that Brown would follow his mate to Ibrox. Fee was £4.4m and wages over five years meant the total cost to the scum was around £11m.

Two illegal goals to beat bottom of the league team of exhausted journeymen. A team like no other indeed

Offside rule not apply in the Scottish Cup?
-
“Is it a goal for Sellick?” ”Aye” ”Well it’s a goal then…” So fucking blatant

Corrupt to the core

Early days (and that injury is a bastard) but I think Cortes might make it three. -

“Dujon, which positions can you play?” ”Yes” Fucking love him. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

He had a zero budget in January which is why we’re committed (ie out of pocket) to the tune of the combined figure for DioMande and Cortes although the latter’s injury muddies the water a bit. Bottom line is that he won’t have as much as we’d like but a league title and CL money would make a monumental difference. -
Ridvan delivers

Get Davies to fuck. Cost us a goal against Betis, he’ll be pretty rusty and he was already shite to begin with. Not a game to fanny about with experimental formations. Usual back four, Lundstram and Sterling in front of them, McCausland (Wright), Diomande and Lawrence supporting Dessers. Subs will be crucial imo so Silva and Roofe will have their part to play late on.

Hope you’re wrong and that Lens also don't realise that hammer throwers are allowed to kick lumps out of anyone wearing a Rangers strip.
