Svensson 5? Adam better than Svensson? Penalty save alone makes McGregor a 7........... Thomson 5?

McGregor - 7 - fouled for the goal however why was there no defender protecting him like every other team does with their goalkeeper?

Hutton - 7 - better attacking today, stupid penalty to give away - his play is a lot better than his decision making.

Weir - 8 - solid in the air and on the ground - coped admirably with svensson.

Ehiogu - 3 - think we may have found out why leeds and boro let him go.

Murray - 7 - did well today.

Hemdani- 5- not up to his usual high standards.

Burke - 4- said it all in the first half when the guy with concussion made him dizzy. Still needs to learn the art of crossing and recognising the simple pass to a player on our team.

Thomson - 4 - still to see how he will fit into the team/formation when we face tougher opposition.

Adam - 4 - very anonymous today - wasn't near the ball enough.

Ferguson - 8- usual excellent game, supported boyd well.

Boyd - 9 - worked hard, scored 3

Subs:

Novo - 6 - didn't quite come off for him but pretty unlucky to be dropped in the first place

Svensson - 4 - usual poor positioning and frightening lapses of concentration or as the commentary said switching off.

McGregor - 8 - Couldn't do much with the goal IMO,good handling all game a a penatly save,he will be chalenging Gordon for Scotland no.1 very soon

Hutton - 6 - Resonable perfomance up until the penalty which was as pointless as a sphere

Weir - 8 - Solid and Composed, won just about every header that came his way

Ehiogu - 4 - Looked a bit retarded in the opening 10 mins but came on a bit before his injury

Murray - 8 - Brilliant game,didnt put a foot wrong

Burke - 7 - Thought he played well today,a few terrific runs

Thomson - 5 - Didn't do much noticable before he went off but kept posesion well

Hemdani - 5 - Really pisses me off at times as he is constantly playing backwards passes when theres a chance to go forward and put on pressure

Adam - 6 - Didnt do much today but put in a decent shift

Ferguson - 9 - Thought he was outstanding once again, scored a legitimate goal and every pass found its target

Boyd - 8 - Can't argue with a hat-trick

Subs:

Novo - 6 - Thought we looked more lively when he came on. Dodgy first touch at times but always puts in a terrific work rate

Svensson - 5 - Resonable perfomance, can see him improving dramatically with Weir along side him

Just thought I'd be a complete git and point out that he tried a threaded through ball for Boyd which was cut out

McGregor - 6 - Penalty save balanced by error for goal. Average.

Hutton -6- Quite good at times going forward...rank stupidity in conceding penalty. Doesn't look good enough.

Weir - 7- Solid.

Ehiogu - 4 - Made three errors in first ten minutes that would have had commentators and fans alike baying for Svensson's blood. Then injured...surprise surprise.

Murray -6- Gave his all as usual. Squad player.

Burke - 5- Lots of the ball but did diddly squat really. Doesn't look good enough.

Thomson - 5 - Started well then disappeared. Thomson, Hemdami and Ferguson in same team...hello Walter!

Hemdani - 6 - steady game without actually hurting anybody.

Adam - 6 - Another who did little. Doesn't look good enough.

Ferguson - 6- Average. Unlucky to have goal wiped out but missed easy chance second half.

Boyd - 7- Generally played well and took his chances well.

Subs:

Novo - 6 - Ridiculous decision to drop him IMO. At least Smith had the good sense to see the error.

Svensson - 6 - Steady. Took no chances. Still looks to have no confidence but at least he came through with no disasters.

Svensson only played part of the game, RFC. McGregor gets credit for the penalty save but debit for the goal - more than a pass mark overall. Feel free to post your own ratings if you like. B)

You are contridicting yourself then. Karl was a substititue, But played more of the game than Nacho Novo.

If Nacho gets a 6, How come Karl can only get a 5 for being a substitute, Yet plays more time than Nacho.

Suggest it may be to do with their effect on the game rather than time on the pitch.
