So it should Davis for me Before Wednesday night Thomson had only played 12 minutes of competitive football since last october, it's no wonder really that he was well off the pace, that will change though. He has the effort, tenacity, work rate and determination that any good captain needs. He is tough in the tackle, inspires his team mates and generally leads by example. He's been there and done it! thats no reason for captaincy im afraid,,no maybe your last reason tho... but he never stamped that authority wednesday,was non existant infact.... so what you are saying is every player thats won the CL is captain material... Lets face it. Thomo's still a Hibee, and he's done little to embrace the fans.
