Hamilton!

Sep 28 2009 Keith Jackson

HAMILTON will this morning complete a shock swoop for former Hibs playmaker Guillaume Beuzelin.

Record Sport understands Accies boss Billy Reid was busy thrashing out a contract with the 30-year-old Frenchman last night and hopes to have a deal done this afternoon that will allow Beuzelin to relaunch his career back in the SPL.

The midfielder had been training with former Easter Road boss Tony Mowbray's Celtic and it is understood the Englishman was keen to sort out a short-term deal.

However, no contract was forthcoming and Beuzelin has decided to move on rather than wait any longer as one of the game's forgotten men.

He returned to Scotland after an unhappy stint at Coventry and will use a deal at Hamilton to put himself back into the shop window.

He is expected to sign a sixmonth contract and agent Willie McKay said: "Guillaume is thrilled at the prospect of getting back into SPL action.

"All he wants to do is play football again and he's looking forward to teaming up with a young, exciting Hamilton side."

Good signing for Hamilton though not sure for the player.
