Creampuff 22,628
Why shouldn't Smith wait for promises of money? He's building a team on a zero budget.

Muff 245
A load of pish on the eve of a Champions League game. However, Walter Smith has already wasted money on; Kenny Miller, Lee McCulloch, Steven Whittaker, Kyle Lafferty - never worth the £3.5m....he brought in strikers and central midfielders when other areas of the team, and squad needed addressed, and now we are paying the price. A lop sided squad, lacking in 1st team players, depth, quality and balance.

Most interesting form of team building i've ever seen... You're right, because signings like Lafferty and Davis weren't an attempt to build a team which could remain built for years to come..
