BryanRfc 1 Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Ok so i usually can watch movies that are on my pc through my xbox with no problem but i was running out of space on the pc so i bought an external hard drive. It arrived this morning and i plugged it into my pc and everything is going fine. But i want to move everything from my pc onto the new hard drive and still be able to watch them on my 360. When i go onto the video bit on the 360 it has no directory to the external Hard drive so can i download somehting that will direct it to it? Cheer in advance . Plug it into ur PC, make sure all the files are OFF the HDD that u want as formatting will wipe the drive, right click on the drive in My computer go to Format and format the drive in FAT file format. Instructions in there http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=125924 You setup those 3 folder you make are the shared folders and keeps everything tidy in ur PC and u can access anything u like Much faster streaming then Windows media centre aswell.
