Guest
Rangers brushed aside Premiership opposition at lunchtime today in the shape of Newcastle United in the clubs last game of their pre-season schedule. Goals from Kenny Miller and Steven Naismith were enough to secure the victory despite ex-Ger Pete Lovenkrands scoring a tap in with his first touch of the ball.View the full article

GlasgowRangersChampions52 5
There goal looked just offside. Both our goals were good passes with a great finish.
kanjo 26,490
I didn't think Bougherra was our best player today. Ironicly, it was a Scot.
pcbear 10,932
Naismiths run was untrackable, and the finish was quality, lets hope its not a false dawn, Whittakers cross was wicked as was the Miller finish, but the run from Naismith was brilliant and perfectly picked out by Davis , quality. Ozblue 4,332
Naismiths run was untrackable, and the finish was quality, lets hope its not a false dawn, Whittakers cross was wicked as was the Miller finish, but the run from Naismith was brilliant and perfectly picked out by Davis , quality.Naismith was a great improvement in the Sydney tournament from what he has been serving up since he came to Ibrox, as the tour seemed to give him a bit of confidence.I only hope he doesn't get shunted real wide left again into a position that doesn't suit him...Maybe this will be the year he shows us his ability and what he can possibly do. delparlane 6,001
Was away all week so missed the match, but our two goals were top quality. Sloppy defending by us on their goal, but good heads-up play by Lovenkrands to score (if they had to get on the sheet, at least it was an ex-Ger that did the damage).
