For me Prso and Brown would get a game - Brown if I recall correctly has played with number's 1 - 11 on his Ranger's shirt, however someone correct me if I'm wrong.

could only say who i saw,mind you missed a couple of glaring ommissions,the old players would have been a joy to watch

That's a fair comment,mate! and let's face it, your "glaring admissions" are quite understandable because there's a lot of players could go into your selection.

As far as I'm concerned, our current so called 'hard men enforcers' wouldn't have lived with the guys from yesteryear.

The modern players are much faster and athletic minded than the old dudes and also more tactically attuned to the game, but for sheer guts and downright hardness, they wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes on the park.

You have to remember also that in those days there was no such thing as substitutes...tackling from behind and above the knees was never an offence, and you could belt the keeper into the net with the ball in his hands and it was a goal.

Could you imagine that in this era?
