No Appeal

Nothing confusing about that at all. The Tax case is going to start in the next month or so and we may or may not need to appeal any decision that is made

He's gone from saying that 'there will probably be a series of appeals' to 'any outcome being subject to appeals' to 'we want it finished as quickly as possible'.

"The tribunal only starts in November so it will likely be concluded around March-time. Of course, there will probably be a series of appeals after that. This could go on for years yet. If we lose, we appeal and that’s another year. If we win, HMRC could appeal, so it’s not necessarily going away any time soon. It would be nice if it could go away sooner but it will run for some time yet.”

You have obviously forgotten this quote, even though it came from one of your articles. ;)

We will invest in the squad.

We need to reduce wages and can no longer keep investing in the squad.

Some seem to be failing to grasp that things change over time.

Every word is treated like its cast in stone FFS. Whyte is dealing with a very fluid situation trying to repair decades of damage done by Murray and co.

He may very well have originally set out to do certain things, then the picture changes and so do the priorites.

Folk greet about not getting info, yet when they do they use it to try and hold him to everything he says.
