merge the newco to league 2 side

Recommended Posts

So, is it an option to move 'Doncaster Rangers' to Glasgow, or would the Glasgow based Gers have to make a 400 mile round trip to 'home' games?

Serious question, as I'm not sure whether the English FA would allow a team (or franchise as they have over here) to be relocated to another country.

As I was told, rangers would "buy" doncasters share in the league and therefore be admitted as a newco in effect. Like two businesses merging. One large corporate identidy, supporting a failing smaller business, but in order to build up newco reputation and assets together. As I say mate, this was a discussion I had and was told was on their fans forum abt three half months ago. ?? Feck knows, I can only say what was being suggested. ??

Are you thinking of Darlington?
