Reformation Bear 6,453
Well its very convenient for folks to come out with their 'it's not my fault gov' types of statement in a vain attempt to curry favour or sympathy or whatever from us. It does not wash in this case and if he is followed by a long line of representatives from other clubs similarly pleading their innocence then that will not wash either. Cowards the lot of them. If you do not believe a course of action is right and you believe it firmly enough then you speak up. Hiding under the underskirts of corporate board decisions then peeking out from under the skirts later with a contra-view exposes such people as pansy deceivers who bend with whatever breeze or pay packet suits them. Better if they simply kept quiet or toed the party line they were so happy to take in the first place. Anyway, they did not vote for us for Div 1 so that's that. We are in Div 3. It's our job as a club (players, manager, CEO & Board and fans to work our ticket out of it by winning promotion. Statments from clubs or people in clubs about their views are largely irrelevant. We just need to get on with the job we need to do. And in this case it is winning against Clyde on Sunday. Here's a question though (for Charles and Ally) - will that club be welcome at Ibrox when it is their turn to visit us?
