Well that's nine withdrawals from the Scotland squad and five from England for the midweek friendlies, still time for more and that's just two teams. The replacements seem a bit bottom of the barrel certainly in Scotland's case anyway.

I'm not one to go on about scrapping international friendlies since it allows experimentation especially when it's the build-up to a tournament. However they should reconsider the timing of some of the slots, clearly nobody really wants them in November for one.
