Bigcid 22 Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 My question is this with the state of the spl's finances laid bare why would the sfl want to merge into the spl why not just let them go bust and then negotiate a new media deal with SKY or BT or which ever media company is interested.And secondly has anyone got access to the sfl's accounts it would be interesting to see the state of affairs with their finances my bet is the sfl is in a better financial position than the spl. Redwhiteandblue 3,330 Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Merging the sfl into the spl, rather than the other way around gets our TV rights tied into the spl before the 2 year is up and we can go for our own deal.
