Corky True Legend 2,682 Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 I have, today received a reply from my MP (Malcolm Bruce) regarding my concerns about the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act. I quote: -"Although I appreciate your point, at the time when Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Bill was discussed, my Scottish Liberal Democrat colleague, Allison McInnes MSP, did raise a concern that the bill was too broadly drafted. However, I cannot agree that football fans should be able to chant racist or sectarian songs with impunity, especially taking into account that it would be illegal to do so outside of a football match."So no support from that quarter, not that i expected any. I was intending to write to my MSP on the subject but as he is Fat Alex, I reckon I would be lucky to even get a reply. Never mind, I am not giving up. WATP.
