Had to leave the house and sit in my car listening to the radio as events unfolded as the mrs was doing my nut in and vica versa. Most memorable 20 minutes of radio in my life. The lows, the hope, the belief, the wishing and then bang, the ecstasy, the uncontrollable rush of joy, the car was shaking, the horn was blaring, the shouts of "yaaaaaaaaassssssssss", "ya fuckin dancer", we'd done it. I'll never forget it. Fucking superb!

Virgin at the time only had Setanta Sports 1 while SKY had both 1 and 2. They were the favourites by miles to win the league that day and were put on Setanta Sports 1 while our game was on Setanta Sports 2. Having Virgin (or was it Telewest back then?) and not SKY I was forced to watch the game a Fir Park.

Being kept up to date with our score at Easter Road I watched as Scott Macdonald made it 1-1, giving us the title, but I was still nervous since Celtic used to have a habit of scoring late goals. Scott Macdonald then scored a second and I relaxed, knowing that Celtic couldn't possibly score 2 goals so the unlikely league title was ours.

Nervousness then hit me again knowing that just 1 goal in our game would lose the title since we were only 1 goal up against Hibs. I think it was Nacho who scored our goal but could be wrong. The game at Fir park ended before ours and I think Setanta Sports 1 then switched over to the last few minutes at Easter Road. I then relaxed again as I saw that we were just passing the ball around and Hibs were not even attempting to tackle us. 1-0 suited them as well as us because they were in front of Aberdeen by a couple of goals in goal difference for a UEFA Cup place and a drubbing would have seen them lose their European spot.

Helicopter Sunday mark II and the Gers once again were victorious.

Got shaved and kitted out in long sleeve shirt to meet my father in the keystone pub in bridgeton , my wife reminding me in the car not to get too upset etc etc with me replying it's sone and dusted but de down hoping still believing, but I had to pop into the arcade centre with wife to pick up my wife wedding band which was ready as we were getting married that September.

I came off the motorway into the town and stopped at a set of lights and looked left. The queue for the pub was massive around the corner with the rhat bastards, I down with the window in a flash and gave the cunts dogs abuse not to my wife's amusement, I gave the cunts it tight and they all just looked as to say what the fuck.

Well the pub on the equaliser, all on our phones struggles with the signal which was terrible in the pub then it up on the giant screen, it was something like out a western, the pub erupted like nothing I have seen, then when the

second went in, that just rubbed salt on O'Neil's glorious last seasons treble.

One day bears, might take a decade but we will have those days back.

copland bear, what a fuckin post, thats the Rangers spirit, right there , in every sentence.thats howi feel..............
