Just out of interest, what was the final total for this season?

It technically hasn't ended yet.

Any income over the next month or so that isn't a 2016/17 Membership donation will still be credited to the 15/16 account, as will any expenditure during that period.  For example, next week's Stadium Tour/Argyle Restaurant trip, SIMA's Rising Stars donation, and 15/16 membership fees for anyone wanting a medal. :D

I also need to decide whether to consider the medals as 15/16 or 16/17 income/expenditure

I really must learn to be more specific. I meant number of members but your reply is most informative.

Taylor and Leyton M*****  who are just 7 and 3 years old recently visited Erskine and handed over the magnificent sum of £64.44.

They raised this amazing amount by saving their pennies from doings chores around the house and convincing family and friends to donate their hard earned cash into their charity pot.

We think they have done an incredible job and are clearly showing no matter what age you are, you can still make a huge difference to our veterans by fundraising. Thank you boys, you are both amazing!!!!

I wonder what team they support? :sherlock:

Almost off P1.

We needn't be unduly alarmed - yet.

It will take time for all the unrenewed members to cotton on that there's a new fundraiser thread, that it's early, and that it's going to be the only one for the whole season.

Normally, I would send a series of PMs out to all the unrenewed members, and that usually gets a great response.

But the new forum doesn't allow me to send batches of PMs out, and no way am I PMing 230 members individually. :(

Once that number is a lot lower, I'll think about PMing the remainder.

We have until the Season Ticket Deadline, so still plenty of time.

And looking through last season's list, I see lots of names who I am certain will renew as soon as they're asked/nudged.

I'm going to have a word with one of those members right now. (tu)

Point taken but if we keep the thread near the top of P1, more people are likely to see it. Hopefully save you some work. Another fine mess this new format has got us into.

Many thanks to Rangers Charity Foundation who once again have provided 12 Stadium Tour Tickets free of charge for our Erskine Veterans. :21:

So 4 Veterans and 4 Carers from Erskine Bishopton and 2 Veterans and 2 Carers from Erskine Glasgow are already looking forward to their tour on Tuesday. (tu)

After the Stadium Tour, the Veterans (and Carers) will have a 3-course Lunch (and a drink) in the Argyle Restaurant. That's now all paid for, and I left a tip for the Waiting Staff and Tour Guide too, as is our tradition. (tu)

Total cost for the Ibrox Day Out:  £196

And speaking of Rangers Charity Foundation, some big news...
