Done it the hard way

So proud of the team and the Gaffer this afternoon.

When you think about what they had to overcome today to get a result, it must up there as one of our best.

Penalty given against for the type of shirt pulling that happens every week but is rarely acted on.

Handball goal that never should have stood

Christie and Bolingoli both should have seen 2nd yellow and Julien could have been off too

Odds stacked against us but the players never buckled nor wavered.

This team are the real deal and this may be a pivotal result in this title race. The confidence and belief we can take from this could be what we need to drive us on and get the job done.

Really chuffed for the younger bears tonight (my son included) and for them to see that we are indeed a force again and to keep believing as we could be on the verge of something special💙

They had won like a million games in a row at home. I also think that's their strongest team. Add to all your points above everything was in their favour.

However, when the going gets tough, Christie, Forrest, McGregor, Edouard again went missing. Brown looked clueless. There was a spell when he was in the middle of the park and two or three times just punted the ball aimlessly into the sky, not even under pressure! Then he started berating his teammates. Wee ping pong looked shell shocked too. In fairness Kent and Borna are levels. Wee Christie failed to score in another old firm game. Wonder if he'll get his mental state questioned.

Everyone was brilliant but we out thought them, out fought them and out played them in the middle of the park, again, even with a below par Jack in the first half. We have done this in the majority of old firm games since Gerrard's arrival.  They can't live with us. I mentioned it recently but apart from Gerrard's first game and a pretty dire defeat at Ibrox in August (where both teams were poor) we have been by far the most dominant side in old firm games (just not always getting the rewards). We are better then them, there's no doubt about it IMO. We needed that level of win though. That was massive.

We have an excellent run of fixtures coming up after the break. It won't be easy but fucking hell, what a position to be in. Fucking can't wait man.
