bluenose_72 198
pretty much as expected, the 5 in contention are tommy burns, graeme souness, billy davies, george burley and mark mcghee. the sfa have made approaches to ra sellick, southampton and motherwell for burns, burley and mcghee. as long as burns doesnt get the job, id be happy enough with any of the other 4 preferably souness or burley
Danny 9
Talking to a bluenose m8 who has stated he wants Burns. I tried to talk sense into him but he wasn't having it.
disgruntled_bear 157
It's got to be Souness IMO
Coopermania 1
I would go for Burley. Souness second choice.
Whittaker 0
What exactly has Burns done to deserve the job? He was there making as many mistakes as Vogts during his time as manager as his assitant. He wasn't deemed good enough to replace Walter when he left, he wasn't deemed good enough to take over after Vogts so what's changed now? We aren't desperate. Souness and Burley would be my preferable choice.
Muff 245
Souness or Davies
Jasper 182
Please God no....not Burns.......
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Shortlist is apparently down to three, McGhee, Burns and Burley if I remember correctly. All this crap that Davies was spouting about pulling out of the race is supposed to be made up, he wasn't even in the final three.
brissyger 8
I'd go or Burley then Souness.

Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Report, I think in today's Evening Times is indicating that Burley is top of the short list.
