What is the point in going to Manchester?

Speirs asks?

Well tell the c*nt i went to Barca without a ticket and it was f*ckin brilliant, Manchester will be 10 times what that was so i can't wait.

Why don't these cretins just keep their beaks out? He hasn't got a clue what supporting Rangers means, therefore he can't understand why we would want to be as close to the event as is possible. :rangers:

Speirs asks?

As if I didn't hate speirs enough already, this has made my blood boil! The man truly is a waste of valuable organs!!

"Those who understand need no explanation, those who don't, don't matter"

I propose this thread is removed immediately. All this little tit wants is some publicity, he gets off when he thinks people are talking about him. I know, I have met him personally about 12 years ago in Glasgow. He was and still is a friend of my ex/business partner and we met him in Victorias one night.

He is the most bigotted little shite I have ever met, he tried all night to wind me up. He succeeded.

When we left Vicky's to go to the casino down Hope Street he made the mistake of saying to me " don't lose too much money, your team will need it all for new players ". Not the greatest insult he had came out with during the previous 3 hours, but the straw that broke the camels back !.

I decked him, not too hard, just enough for him to fall over his feet and end up sitting on the pavement.

I enjoyed myself at the casino, my ex/business partner took dickless home in a taxi.

It was a good night.

Speirs asks?

In what context did he ask the question? Why go if you do not have a ticket or did he say 'Why are Rangers even bothering to go because they will get beat"

Sorry it was why go without a ticket and it was on Clyde

Did the weed in tweed ask the same question when his own ilk traveled to Seville without a ticket?

The prick is beyond comprehension.

Why is it such a 'daft' question. Why go to Manchester if you don't have a ticket. I have asked the same question on this forum. Why sit in a strange pub to watch the game when you could be in your favourite Rangers bar here in Glasgow. The other point to consider is that should we win the EUFA cup Rangers will be back in Glasgow the next morning and I would hope that the team is allowed to have an open topped bus tour of the city finishing at Ibrox. What if your are stranded in Manchester when this is going on, how good is that going to be.

Because Graham Spiers says it he gets dogs abuse and is accused of all kinds of crap. It was a good question deserving of a thoughtful answer but the guy who made the orginal post worded it like Spiers was suggesting we are wasting our time going to Manchester and a some of you have grabbed the bait.

Some poeple just don't get it . . . . . .

It's about "being there", sure, we could all sit in front of a TV or in the pub, we can do that anytime, but when will we get another chance to travel to the city where our team are playing in such a big game ?, and, especially a city so easily accessible to the huge majority of Rangers Supporters.

It might well take a bit of effort and cost a bit of money, but, if Rangers win, how many supporters who could have gone, but chose not to, will be pig sick for a very long time (and then in years to come tell people - "yeah, I was there").

Now, where did I put that passport ? - (only kidding, don't need one from the Isle of Man )

With two trophies still to play for that will be very unlikely. They will leave the parade till after we have cleaned up.
