He'd given me £60 at Kaunas and £180 last week but the cashier there was only £180 there and so I had an idea where the other £60 could be when I came home. However it wasn't where I thought it could have been when I returned home just before the game yesterday. I put £20 on Riordan to score at any time at 100/30, thought it was almost inevitable SWP scoring on his return and Miller too but I'd only bet on the former there - and thought I could get that 'lost' £60 back through the bet and also I usually bet around that amount anyway but Deek never scored. I was then really tempted to go for it the next day, especially as not going for Hull (at 12/5) which I'd really thought about would have given me 'that' money, and last night before dinner I was really considering putting £40 on Jo to score at any time at 13/8 but I'd be wanting my £60 stake back and another £60 back for the 'lost' money and then I was looking at Stephen Ireland at 3/1 to score at anytime. But then I remembered a drunk irishmen telling me 'not to chase it' after first starting to gamble. ~That quote of not chasing really hit me and put me off. I know fuck all about Italian football IMO Sampdoria are the only dead cert the others are kind of dodgy but worth the risk. Stick a couple quid on it you will get just less than £40 back.
