Liverpool after BVBs 'Kuba'

Recommended Posts

Jakub Kuba Blaszczykowski...already making a big name for himself in the Bundesliga.

Jakub Blaszczykowski, the Poland winger, wants to move to Liverpool in an £8 million deal, but Borussia Dortmund are refusing to sell. Blaszczykowski, 22, who missed Euro 2008 because of a hamstring injury, could replace Yossi Benayoun at Anfield. AS Roma are trying to sign the Israel midfield player.

Totally agreed. Liverpool are as bad as we were with no fecking width.

I'd actually go as far as to say that if you took out Torres and Gerrard, we are a very similar side.

Ageing defense, overly defensive, severely lacking wingers. Lots of young talent, not always getting played. Very stodgy in Europe and do well with it, not drawing enough plaudits for their achievements (last year anyways). Players played in odd positions, not knowing exagly what to do with their best player Ferguson/Gerrard, then playing them behind the front striker. Sticking to playing players not performing, Kuyt.

More alike than perhaps we'd care to admit!
